Sunny, the fridge :rotfl2: ...that would be so funny to explain if we had guests over. Hmmm, I may hang it right by my scale!

Gail, don't you worry about the journal, sweetie!!! But thank you so much for stopping by! :goodvibes

Tracy & Lesli, thanks so much for your cheery encouragement!! :sunny:

I wound up not going out walking last night, so I didn't reach my goal of steps. TOM is most definitely here and I started cramping. It was pretty mild cramping (still unsure if it's directly related to the healthy eating), but I don't mean mild as in it was just abit uncomfortable, I mean mild as in it was still pretty painful, but not as excruciating as it normally is for me. On the positive side, that's a BIG plus. On the more negative side, it took me out of commission and I just laid down most of the evening feeling drained (in more ways than one :crazy2: ). We did have to go out for a time last night, so our dinner wound up being at Wendy's. I was happy to have my little "cheat sheet" I made. I wound up getting a mandarin chicken salad with fat free ranch, small fries (I would have skipped, but my body really needed the energy and it felt a lot better after putting some carbs in), and a light lemonade. I ate only half of my salad, and the rest is saved for lunch today. My total steps for yesterday was 5,576 with a distance of 2.64 miles.

Today is a new day. I woke up, got on the scale and not only were my 2lbs gone again (bloating is gone!), but I lost another pound!!!! :Pinkbounc So I have a total of 3 pounds GONE!!!!!!!! :cheer2: That put a BIG smile on my face this morning!!

My workout plan says it's a rest day and I think I'm gonna follow through. I'm still cramping a bit and feeling wiped out from TOM, so I'm not gonna do anything strenuous. I believe we're going grocery shopping today since the store started a sale today, so I know I'll definitely get some steps in there.

Breakfast: oatmeal raisin granola bar
Snack: 1/2 cup fruit
Lunch: 2nd 1/2 of Mandarin Chicken salad w/ fat free ranch dressing
Snack: 6 crackers & slice of cheese
Dinner: unsure...will have to see what we get at the store. Maybe a grilled chicken wrap and some veggies
Snack: Jello

You're doin' great WISHsis. Glad TOM is gone for you!!! :) Today was a rest day for me too. I'm not doin' any extra exercise. Congrats on the loss!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Glad TOM is gone for you!!!
Oh don't I wish it was!! Nope, today is only day 2. The bloating is gone, but TOM will be visiting for a few more days. :(

I'm sorry, WISH sis. When he leaves you, he'll be visiting me. He's such a MEAN flirter.

Ok ladies....it's a milestone hit.....

:Pinkbounc :cheer2: NEW CLIPPIE!!!! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Got on the scale this morning to see a *total* of 6 pounds GONE FOREVER!!! Only 9 more to go...I'm doing the single digit dance!! :cool1: I'm so excited, I can barely sit still! The scale was moving so slow that I didn't think I'd ever reach the 5lb clippie, but I'm there!! Only 4 more to go for my 10lb clippie! But right now I'm celebrating the 5lb, I need to celebrate the victory before I get ahead of myself otherwise I won't ever appreciate what I have done to get here.

The only thing that bugs me is that while I see the scale moving, I dno't see any physical changes. My body composition hasn't changed at all, my measurements haven't changed at all, none of my clothes are any looser (I'm determined to get into an old pair of shorts I have). The good thing is that cellulite is slowly going away...THAT I have noticed. So I have no complaints in that department. But I'm just afraid I'm gonna hit my 15 pound goal...with no changes in how I actually *look*, know what I mean? I want to look good...I mean that's part of the reason why I have my bikini out in the open. I can fit into it now, I could 6 pounds ago as well. But I want to look fit in it. So that's my only frustration at the moment. :confused3 I know, I know....patience.

I have a job interview today at 3pm EDT (I'm picking up a second job) so this pound loss was awesome for me because it puts me in a great mood before the interview. I'm hoping it goes well because we sure could use the money. The nice thing is that even though it's a retail job, they are closed on Sundays (even though they're in a mall where none of the other stores are closed) which works out perfectly for me because I don't want to work Sundays anyway. So it seems as though God is laying this right on my lap. I'm really hoping it's an open door here. I'll update later after the interview.

Yesterday was a rest day as far as working out is concerned, but I did do 30 minutes of power walking with weights and 15 minutes of jogging. Today my workout time increases by 2 minutes. I don't plan on working out until *after* I get back home from the interview since I already took a shower and I don't feel like going there all stinky. :rotfl:

We did go grocery shopping yesterday so that has helped me in the food department. Lots of produce (I was excited because they had the Dole salad mixes at buy 1 get 1 free), and some low carb stuff, and some low-cal/low-fat snacks. I should be good for a time. At the moment, only breakfast has been done, so the rest will be my plan.

Breakfast: Light & Fit yogurt :)
Snack: light string cheese :)
Lunch: Turkey wrap & half an orange :)
Snack: half an orange :)
Dinner: grilled chicken breast & 1 cup steamed broccoli
Snack: rice cake & slice of cheese

Go MARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm very proud of you, princess: WISHsis!

Let's dance! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:    :flower:

You are a loser! That is the way the scale should go. Good luck with the job interview!

Congrats on the new clippie! It must feel great to be so close to your goal.

I don't think you will have to worry about how you will look after 15 lbs is gone. You will definitely see a change. I have lost almost 15 and can definitley see the difference in various places. Will you want to continue toning some areas, maybe, but I wouldn't worry too much. After all, are you in this for fitting into the bathing suit or for creating a lifestyle that will hold genetics at bay and the bathing suit is just a bonus?

You're going to be fine. Good luck on the interview! ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Good morning everyone!!

There's really not a ton of stuff to update on. The job interview went very well yesterday and today I go back at 2:30pm EDT for a second interview (this time with the assistant manager). The manager told me I should hear something by the beginning of next week.

Yesterday was excellent for me with food & exercise. I followed my food plan all the way. For exercise I did 25 minutes cardio aerobics, 25 minutes power walking, 10 minutes jogging, 60 crunches, 40 leg lifts, 30 butt lifts, 20 dancer squats, and 20 lunges. My total step count was 14,531!!! with a total distance of 6.88 miles.

Aside from my 2nd interview today, I don't really have anything planned out. It's the first day off together my husband and I have had in awhile, so we will probably be out and about enjoing the day. So I don't really have a plan as far as food goes, but I can tell you now that I have absolutely no interest in junk today. So I know it's going to be a good day as far as food is concerned. Breakfast was light & fit yogurt. I'll probably have strting cheese for snack and a turkey wrap for lunch. The rest is up in the air.

I'm still feeling mighty high over the weight loss....I'm just so proud of myself!! And that really motivates me to keep going. :cheer2:

CONGRATULATIONS MARY!!!

You are doing a great job!!! Keep up the hard work and you will SEE the differnces. So will DH :earseek: . Good Luck with the interview.

Have a great weekend,
Beth

Have a great weekend! :sunny:

You're doing great! Hope you get the job. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Good afternoon, everyone!! :sunny:

My 2nd interview on Friday went really well. The assistant manager told me at the end that he was extremely impressed with me and off the record jokingly said "wanna start now?" :rotfl: Now he and the manager will have a little pow-wow to discuss me and the position and I should hear from them in the next few days. The assistant manager told me that they would let me know either way because they believe that if I took the time to talk with them, they should take the time to let me know if I got the position or not. I really appreciate that and told him so. I hate just waiting...even if the answer is no. I want to know.

I can't remember exactly how everything went with food yesterday but I remember it being good. :rotfl2: No bad choices over here...woohoo! Exercise went well...about 25 minutes of power walking, 25 minutes of cardio aerobics, 15 minutes of leg toning, 80 crunches, and 40 butt lifts.

Today has been going well with food choices.
Breakfast/snack: 1 cup pineapple chunks
Lunch: turkey wrap
Snack: light string cheese, 1 cup pineapple chunks
Dinner: will be grilled chicken with hawaiian marinade & steamed broccoli & carrots
Snack: not quite sure...maybe some jello

Today is a rest day according to my exercise plan, but I will do some walking. I may or may not do some leg & arm toning as well...haven't decided yet. The scale is the same and I'm not expecting any changes for another few days. I guess I just know my body that way.

Anyway, it's too warm and beautiful for me to stay on the computer all day long, so I think I'll go out for a walk. :sunny: :sunny:

Hope you get it WISHsis!!!!!!!!!! Very proud of you! my fingers are crossed.

Hope you get the job! Good for you for going for it! :cool1: Things look like they are going well. Have a great week!
