No, I didn't pack up and leave for FL, we just stayed put and today it's back to the old routine. We too are feeling the college crunch. My oldest son graduated last May and now we've taken on some of his debt as he looks for a permanent job. Then we've got those application fees and senior costs for my daughter. I also have a son in between these two who started at Montgomery County Community College until a recruiter from DISNEY came "selling" the college program. Needless to say, off he went Jan. '07 for a year, came home for 6 months and did another semester at MC and is now back in FL working as a CM and will hopefully go back to Valencia CC there to complete his AA, then finish at Univ. of Central FL. At least his costs from MC are all paid - those we could keep up with as they came. But now we wait for the tuition bill from FL, which will start again either this summer or fall. And then there's one more who's a sophomore in HS! At least with my CM son, DVC, and the Disney VISA (pays for most of our food when we're there) we can vacation at WDW relatively inexpensively (well little money out of pocket at the time of vacation - DVC is already paid for).

We actually just moved to MD. Stopped for a short visit to the World on our move cross country and bought into BLT! First trip home is Nov. 27-29th! Can't wait!

I just purchased DVC at BLT last week.
We live in Hanover, MD.
My first trip home will be in Oct 2010 unless we get a chance to sneak down for a long weekend before that!

We also live in Maryland and will be going to AKV Kidani on Aug 30 for 6 days. We live in western Maryland in Grantsville. We are trying to sell our house and move to Florida before winter sets in. We are buying a house in Cape Coral 3.5 hours from Orlando. But it is a lot closer than where we are now. Hope you enjoy your DVC. We own at OKW, AKV, and HH. Candace

Hmm, seems to be quite a few of us around. Glenelg mean anything to anyone? What do you think of the new 32 expansion by Ten Oaks? I'm still trying to get my head around that route. (Roundabout to roundabout to where am I again?)

Our next trip to "the World" isn't for another 2 months. Taking newbies, 80 y.o. newbies. The travel blog is woefully in need of TLC. (My digicam is bursting with pics.) But we've been so busy exploring the world this summer (and getting a bunch of new clients... uugh work!), I've had little time to stay focused on my blogging. Headed to OC next. Hopefully I can catch up while watching the waves.

Oh btw, I fed my DVC addiction with a couple add-ons this year. BLT and lately BWV. So I need to expand my "lover" status in my sig, I guess.

Yeah, course Glenelg means something! We are in Lisbon and my children will go to Glenelg in the not too distant future.... ugh, I gotta get through Glenwood first!

You guys are too funny!! I am not far from you, my boys have played basketball at Glenwood and Glenelg. (The youngest is finishing up HS at Atholton!). We are at 32 and Cedar Lane, next to Johns Hopkins APL.

I know why there are so many DVCers in MD..... $49 fares to WDW on SW and AirTran!! Wahoo! You can almost get to WDW quicker than driving over the bay bridge to OC!

Anne Arundel County here. We live a little bit south of BWI, which makes it easier to get to my happy place.

Hi! We live in Northern Baltimore County, Freeland, up I83 near the PA. line. We bought in 2002 at the Beach Club Villas and have 3 contracts there. We also own at Hilton Head and are headed there in the morning for 12 nights. We love the BCV, but we also like Saratoga Springs a lot.

Every few years we take our camper down and stay at Fort Wilderness. It is a lot of fun there.

I love DVC. My family absolutely loves Hilton Head, but I love WDW the most. One of the nicest things about DVC is the variety offered.
