I was wondering about the new Mary Jane Crocs, has anyone tried them out? Did the front strap rub the top of your foot? I'd like to get some, but am a little worried about the top strap rubbing my foor raw after a full day of walking.

Hi,
I have the Mary Jane Crocs. The front strap was a little annoying and I finally realized that I could gently stretch it out a little. Now, they are perfect!!!

I've been wearing them constantly, including all day at a museum, and they are wonderful. But it's still cold and I was wearing them with socks (black mary janes and black socks with slacks on). They are much less offensive looking, that's for sure. I don't even notice the strap, and they are more narrow so I don't feel like I'm as clumsy on my feet as I do in regular Crocs.

I'm not sure if I'll like my lavender ones as much in the summer with no socks, but we'll see.

Edit: Ooops, just noticed I mistakenly posted on this old thread. Meant to post on a newer one...

The strap barely even touches the top of my feet when standing. Like the PP said though....if it bothered you, you can stretch it a bit.

I wore my maryjanes in November and had no problems. I wore than both with and without socks.

I wear them at least 3 days a week for work. The black look fine with or without socks. I'll be ordering a blue pair for this year's Disney trip, that is unless they come out with khaki mary janes. :woohoo:

My daughter's OT has them and I asked her about the top strap. Looked like it would bother me too. She said she took that strap off completely. So that might be an option if it bothers you. They looked so cute, much narrower and shoe-like.

Well I bought them thinking they would be as wonderful as everyone says they are. I ended up hating them. I honestly think that the soles are a little thin and not very cushiony. Also, my feet sweat like buckets in them. I opted for a brand new pair of Tevas instead. I have had better luck with them.

I have a pair (black) of the Mary Jane's and I too love em. I also agree with previous post that b/c they are more narrow I personally feel less clutzy in them. I can't even feel the strap at all when they are on b/c it is so loose. Soooooo comfortable and breezy b/c they are so loose. Highly recommend!:)

I have a pink pair that I absolutely love but mine do rub my foot and leave me with sore spots. I'll have to try stretching mine out a little.

I really like my Mary Janes, but for a full day of walking around at WDW, they weren't as comfortable as the Cayman or Beach models. The sole isn't as thick and cushioney- by the end of the day, I could really feel the pavement under my feet. they are awesome for wearing around town, but for WDW touring, I'll stick with my Beach and Caymans.

I wonder if anyone else feels the same as MomofKatie???

I was just about to buy a pair of Mary Jane Crocs for our Disney trip in Sept. thinking I could wear them for a full 8 days of walking in the parks. But, if they are not as thick soled as the Beach - maybe I should just buy the Women's Disney Beach style to match my DD.

I'm use to wearing Danskos all day at work so I wonder if the Beach style would be a better choice??? I do like the Mary Janes more as far as the look of the shoe, but I'd rather be comfortable.

Does anyone have thoughts on this??
Thanks!!

I love mine!! Just got them 2 weeks ago and have worn them to work at least 2 times a week. No problems!! Just remember that you can stretch the top band to be more comfortable if needed.:woohoo: I am going to take mine to DW in September!
