Marvel Snap

I saw a commercial for a new Marvel app game called Marvel Snap and from the commercial I saw the game looked good so I tried it out but when I first started it the game told me I had to be connected to the internet and so I logged in and the game was about to start when a message popped up saying that I wasn't connected but I was. And the commercial for Marvel Snap doesn't mention a money charge or if it's just made for smartphones and I think that this game was rushed out for the holidays but I do wish that there was a Marvel app game where you can just play like Candy Crush and not have to be connected online
Has anyone played Marvel Snap and what is your take on it?
