We'll be on a 4-day cruise on Wonder to Bahamas. Our guys are big Marvel fans (ages 5, 9 and 30!). It's not a Marvel Day cruise. What can we expect in the way of Marvel characters, themes, and club play?

We sailed on the WONDER last March, not a Marvel cruise. I don't remember there being any Marvel related activities on the ship. I'm not a fan though, so I wasn't really looking for any. My dd said she saw some of the characters in the club a few times. You'd have to book a Marvel cruise on the Magic to get a lot of Marvel activities.

There won't be any Marvel theming on the ship as a whole, but the Oceaneer club does have a Marvel superhero area. Meet and greets are possible, although not likely outside of the clubs. You can inquire at guest services, or also use the app to check for meet and greets. There are very likely to be Marvel themed activities going on in the clubs. When you're looking at the navigators you just want to check for specific names like Captain America, Iron Man, or S.H.I.E.L.D.

In June on the Wonder, we had a Black Widow m&g for sure; she had the right attitude as she strode to the head of the line! I think Spiderman had a m&g listed? I'm blanking on anyone else. The club's Marvel area is pretty neat. Definitely head there during open house, so the kids can show dad around that. They played Black Panther in the movie theater a few times, as well as another older Marvel movie (latest Avengers maybe).

To had to what PP said, on Wonder, you might meet Spider-man, Captain America and Black Widow. They might have some Avengers-themed activities in the kid’s club and show Marvel Movies in the theater. For a full-fledged Marvel day at sea, you need to sail on Magic on one of the Marvel cruises.

I was on the Magic last January for Marvel Day at Sea. If you’re big fans that’s the cruise to do: characters everywhere, shows and events throughout the day, a great themed dinner, and an awesome deck show. Prior to that I was on the Fantasy in 2016 and other than maybe some toys, movies, and appearances the kids club there wasn’t much to find.
