Thats ok I do trust them. You still didn't answer my question did Dudley Do right start from a written source because I think they started on Rock & Bullwinkle.

So that doesn't fit the description of having to be based on literature.

Its not that the whole park is based on comics, its all based on literature of some type. Dudley Do-Right's whole Toon Lagoon theme is based on comic strips in a newspaper, where all the characters in that island come from.

Jurassic Park started off as a book
Harry Potter is, well, Harry Potter
Lost Continent is based on ancient myths and mythology
Suess Landing is based on kids books

I like the idea of Transformers Ride, but would still miss Spidey, and the cool queue in Dr Doom. But I guess they gotta do what they gotta do

The main reason I believe SPidey will become Transformers (They did start out as comics) is that they are building a Transformers ride in Universal Singapore that uses the same ride system. It would make sense to me to change Spidey over to that.

Hulk coaster -> Ozymandias' coaster
Storm Accelatron -> Dr. Manhattan's Mars Palace
Spider-man -> Night Owl II & Silk Specter II
Dr. Doom -> Rorschach's Elevator Shaft drop

Capt. America Diner -> Gunga Diner

Yeah, obviously I'm not serious. Watchmen is way too gory, serious and explicit. Except maybe during HHN, it would be pretty scary to meet Rorschach.

It will take 2-3 just to develop a new ride for Spiderman and it won't be Transformers...I seriously doubt anyway. BTW...where are you hearing these rumors?

There is the Transformers ride going in Universal Hollywood. It is the same technology as the Spiderman ride. It will be opening in 2012.

I'm not a big fan of Transformers but I guess that changing to it makes sense. What about the rest of the area? I guess that the buildings could be left pretty much alone and the cars replaced on Hulk. What about Doom's Fearfall and the Storm ride?

Fearfall towers would be transformed in to the walkers from War of the Worlds.

I wouldn't even bother re-theming Storm Force...there isn't much of a theme right now.
