Martha Stewart SCoring Board Question

I used my scoring board a lot making Christmas crafts. Now when I I use it, I find that I am having a hard time keeping the scoring tool in the groove - -it tends to skip a line when I am scoring a long line. I looked at the tool and noticed that it is kind of mashed and just doesn't fit very well in the groove anymore.

Anyone else have this problem?

Is there a replacement scorer?

I have tried other things, but I don't seem to have a tool to use in its place. Any suggestions?

Is it the bone folder itself? Not the scoring board? I'd say you should be able to find one at ACM. Ummm, Ranger makes one, I think.

You could try sanding the bone folder's mushed side, remove the mushed stuff and get it back to pointed (does this make any sense)

I love this scoring board. I use the end of an embossing stylus (I believe that is what it is called). And I don't have any trouble staying in the grooves and it makes good impressions on the paper. I have always wanted a scoring board and I can not afford the scor pal so this is great for me!!

Looks like a bone folder, but it is cheap-o plastic, which is why I was able to mush it so easily. The bone folders I have seen are too wide.
