The villas were refurbished a year or so before we stayed there at the end of June 2009.
The villa interiors are sort of unique as they were built on split levels. You enter from the ground or stairs into a short hallway. The second bedroom and bathroom come first (on the left in our villa), then the kitchen area (also on the left), then a set of stairs (two or three steps) go down into the living room/dining room area. This latter area is pretty large compared with other Orlando Marriott timeshares that we stayed at. The kitchen area is open above the counter splashboard and there's another narrow counter on the other side on the dining room side plus a dining room table and chairs. Typical living room furniture (queen sofabed) in the living room and a sliding glass door that leads out onto the screened-in lanai. Back at the steps down to the living room area there were a step or two on right that went up into the master bedroom (to the left) and bathroom (to the right). Nice European style shower at the front of the villa in the master bath.
The resort is fairly small as timeshares go - maybe nine or ten two-story buildings. There's a small workout room, I think there's an arcade room with a few games, a moderately sized pool, tennis and basketball courts. We were there during the days leading up to and including the fourth of July (a very busy time for Orlando) and this resort was QUIET. There were others there but the pool was little used, my daughter and I were in the pool all alone a couple of times. A nice feature of this resort is that it is tucked in right behind the Marriott World Center hotel and a short walk to the hotel's main pool area, food court and small shops - all of which are shared amenities for guests at the three timeshare resorts that are adjacent to the hotel.
And the general location is good, too. It's near I-4 and is quite close to Disney property. Very easy access via SR 536/World Center Drive, which becomes Epcot Center Drive when you pass under the Disney arch a couple of miles from the resort.
