Hello! I am going to a convention in June at the Marriott World Center. I've heard good things, but do you guys know anything more about it? It doesn't appear that they have a shuttle to any of the parks. My husband may come with and we'll stay a few extra days, but we aren't sure if we'll need to rent a car of if they have a shuttle.

Thanks!

It's a decent hotel. It's also a major convention center so you may be overrun by attendees. I seem to remember that they had a shuttle but the schedule was not very convenient . I ended up taking a taxi to either Epcot or DTD depending on where I was headed.

We are now thinking of staying at Pop instead. It's only a few miles from the hotel, cheaper, and then my husband will have more options of what to do while I am at my conference during the day! We would still have to rent a car in order to get me to the conference, but it should work!

Having stayed at both Pop and M World, I'd take MW ! And my better half would also agree.

MW is a beautiful and great place. I would recommend it. We've stayed there twice.

Marriott World is nice, but is very corporate. After spending 35 years in Corporate America it's the last place I'd want to stay on vacation... suits, office chatter, and Dilbert.
