Marriott Village - is there a catch...

What website are people using for looking at the Marriott prices? I checked Expedia for February half term and got £1600 for 7 nights which is sounding rather expensive!

It all depends on when you want to go. We own a week here, but we swapped this year's week for a week in California and a week in Spain. So when we went to see what the cash deal was for August a while back, even as owners, it was £360 a night. But given it is better than the Disney hotels, it's still not a bad deal.

That said, before we bought, we stayed during the spring while all the schools were in session and paid £100 a night, so it does vary. enjoy.

I know, it's a shame about that. I live in hope that they will be able to build one in the future.

Unlikely as a while as in my Marriott Deeds, it states they cannot build another timeshare near DLP for 10 years. Also, we shopped for about 7 years comparing MVCI and DVC, and to us, MVCI is much better value.

And you can still swap into DVC properties, as well as MVCI in Orlando and California.
