We'll be two families of four. Kids will be 7, 13, 14, & 15.

(I would love to stay at Imperial Palms which you would think would be ideal for us, but we'd like to have some down time alone with our kids and privacy for us as well and that wouldn't happen. It doesn't make sense for both families to rent 3BR villas)

Which brings me to the Sabal & Royal.

Which property do you think is more lush or upscale and has plenty to do for the kids?

I'd love to hear your thoughts and comparisons.

Thank you so much:D

I have stayed at both years ago (I used to be a Marriott employee and got great deals) and we loved Sabal Palms. Both of these (and Imperial Palms) are located behind the Orlando World Center Marriott so when you stay at any one of these villas, you may use the World Center facilities which are vast. The villas have smaller pool areas and not much to do directly at their respective locations, because of the fact World Center's facilities are so extensive. The layout of Sabal Palms is my favorite plus they are closest (if I remember correctly) to the World Center which makes it easier to walk to the pool.
Hope this helps, you will love their villas whichever property you decide on!

Thank you very much for the information :D

Anyone else with experience at either place?

I've also been trying to get information on these without much luck. we've stayed at imperial several times and loved it but last year we stayed at the royal and loved that too. you still have to drive up to the world or take the shuttle but the layout was the same as the imperial. when i finally found pictures of the sabal online i didn't like the fact that the second bedroom had 2 singles and the kitchen overlooked a counter with barstools - the sabal was much more open concept.

the sabal is definitely up top with the world so you don't need the shuttle.

the royal had shuffleboard at their pool which my kids loved so we have just booked the royal again.

i'm sure whichever you decide will be great - you can't go wrong with this property

have fun
