Does anyone know the difference between these two properties? They are both Marriott vacation club, look to be right across the street from each other?
Anyone ever stayed at these?
I have Marriott points and the Sable Palms is 20,000 more points then the Royal Palms for a 2bdrm unit.
we are also interested in using the Marriott World center pools, both hotels say they share with there facility.

there are 3 marriott "palms" resorts, including the imperial palms (which is all 3BR villas). all are in the same resort complex as the world center. sabal is the closest to the world center hotel - which is my best guess for the higher cost - but you can take a shuttle or long walk from the royal palms to get there as well.

i have stayed at royal palms twice (most recently, nov 2014). they recently renovated the rooms and the interiors look really nice. (the exteriors of all the palms resorts are a little dated as that was marriott's first timeshare development, as i understand it.) but that is an unbeatable location right outside the wdw gates.

(also, there have been some reports that there is a small $10-ish charge for timeshare stays to use the water slide at the world center, so be aware of that possibility.)

We've stayed at all three of them and pp is right, they are all located within the Marriott World Center property. I prefer Sabal, unless we have a larger group (then we'll go with Imperial because they are 3 bedrooms). I prefer sabal because I like the layout better. Aside from the close proximity to the world center (they will send golf carts and from some areas you can walk), I like the layout of a top floor, bottom floor villa. I believe the villas at sabal are SLIGHTLY larger. Sabal is unique and the first timeshare to open in the MWC complex, I think it's worth the extra cost!

Also stayed at all three. If you're lucky enough to get any ONE of these, good. Enjoy.

We've stayed at both and both were great. Since they are very similar, I'd go with the "cheaper" and save your points for another day!
