We stayed at the Marriott Royal Palms December 16-23, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in a 2-bedroom condo, for which we'd swapped a week of time share (Interval International). We'd do it again in a heartbeat.
The check-in process was smooth and friendly; no complaints. The lobby was fairly ordinary, and the mini-store fairly sparse, but no matter . . . we didn't really spend any time there, having stopped for groceries en route.
The condo itself was fabulous. The master bedroom is a good size, complete with a comfortable jacuzzi tub with plenty of room for one. There's also a small bathroom off the master bedroom, with toilet and shower. The other bedroom is fairly small, but fine for a kid (or low-maintainence adult), with a full-size bed and daybed (a small child could sleep on the daybed). There's a a door in the small hallway outside the secondary bedroom and bathroom, so they can be somewhat closed off from the rest of the condo.
The living room and kitchen have an open layout, with a dining room in between.
The kitchen was ample and had all the basics: stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster. The laundry room was near the condo's front door. If you close the laundry room door, you won't hear the dryer in the rest of the condo.
There's a screened-in porch, which in our case overlooked the golf course. Very relaxing.
There were a couple tiny cosmetic issues . . . a bit of frayed carpet, a small scorch on the side of a kitchen counter. I didn't really notice them until day 2 or 3.
Marriott lists this condo as sleeping 6, which it could if you don't mind sleeping 2 out in the living room (there's a pull-out sofa), or putting a smaller person on the daybed in the secondary bedroom. It's definitely very comfortable for three or four!
I hope we get the chance to stay there again. It really worked out for us.
