Starting to book our dinners now. We will definitely do Noe at the FS one night, but I am looking at Longhi’s for another reservation. Any thoughts on that one or the other more casual spot Longboard’s?

We love Longhi’s…we make it a stop every trip. Beautiful to sit by the Koi pond. If you go on a Tuesday night early you can catch the Marriott’s luaus entertainment for free.

Tuesday it is! Thanks so much. What time would you recommend?

I would think somewhere in the 5:00 - 5:15 range. Info I found says the luau starts at 430 which seems early to me. But they do dinner first for their guests so the entertainment would certainly be after that. If you call Longhi’s you could ask them the best time.

Actually we just found the reservation on our calendar and it said 615. So that’s probably better…lol

Do you think they would change the luau start times depending on what time of year / sunset time?

What are your dates? I'm wondering if we're going to possibly overlap trips?!

Longhi's menu looks really good to me....a little more reasonably priced than some of the 4 Seasons restaurants....I'm actually wondering if we should plan to go 2x.

Longhi’s is great. Longboards is an outdoor cafe that’s more a stand that sells food and snacks for the beach and the pool than it is a legitimate restaurant. It’s just ok.

Doing Longhi’s for sure. Was thinking of Longboards for one of our casual dinners because the photos made it look like it was right on the beach. Is that correct?

We’re there the second week of May. Longhi’s reservations are not open yet for those dates.

It’s on the hotel grounds, right across from the beach. Off The Hook is better.

No I don’t think the time changes….sunset time doesn’t change dramatically. After thinking about it a bit my guess is that check in for the luaua starts that early.

You want to time it so the sun sets while you’re eating. When it gets dark they do some fun maneuvers with lit torches that are more effective in the dark. Be aware, though, that aside from a table or two that you probably won’t get, the sight lines from Longhi’s aren’t spectacular.

Sunset is so much earlier there than at home. It's around 6:55 pm the week we're there.....
