Marriott Grande Vista Room Preference?

We are staying in a two bed/two bath at the MArriott Grande Vista in a few weeks. Any suggestions on weather we want golf or lake view? High or low floor? Location within the resort? I'd be inclined to be in the Main Village where the marketplace is in case we need to run down to get anything. Or does the property not feel that large when you are actually there. I assume where ever we are, parking is close to the unit to make it easier to carry in 6 and 4 year olds that passed out on the way home from the park, right? Thanks!

depends upon you - I like lake views. Also like high floors - don't think there elevators - check to be sure. won't want to carry kids up stairs at night. Parking is very close to their units. despite that most guests loved this place - I did too - but getting to some of the building did take a while. It is very spread out. think it is only 2 floors???? might be 3 but don't remember.

Most buildings are 6 floors and there is an elevator in every building. Here is a link to the resort map.

Some buildings are seven floors. The resort is very spread out. The type of view is personal preference. If you want something closer to the Marketplace, then request that section. Walking could take a few minutes or a short drive. If you want a remodeled unit, don't request in the West Village (Copa Loca, Plaza del Sol area). Those units haven't been remodeled as recently.
