Does any one know if the Marriott Grande Vista 3-Bedroom lock off unit connects through the second bedroom? Meaning in order to get into the 3rd bedroom - which is considered a studio/lock off unit - you have to pass through the middle bedroom?

I know you can access the 3rd (lock off) bedroom from the outside entrance. We have 2 families going - but we want to mingle. Plus I want to give our adult kids - early 20's their own space - they will be in the middle bedroom. But if their bedroom connects to the 3rd bedroom to the rest of the unit, I want to request a dedicated 3 bedroom (this way, no one has to walk through any bedrooms to get from one end to another) vs the lock off one I have.

Thanks.:confused3:confused3

We stayed in a 3 bedroom corner unit last July. You did not have to enter through one bedroom to get to another. On your right as you entered was the room with 2 beds (queens or doubles). It's window faced the outside hallway. Next to it was a bathroom. Next to that, moving forward into the villa, was the Master Bedroom. On the left as you entered was the kitchen. Just past the kitchen on the left was a door to the "lockoff" bedroom with a king and a sofa bed. This room connected to it's own bathroom. Straight ahead as you entered were the living and dining areas. We had 2 balconies, one in the Master and one in the "lock off"...if memory serves me!

Thanks. May I ask which building you stayed in? Was it an updated unit? I heard the villas near building 91 have been renovated recenty. The 3 bedrooms here are lock offs. BUT the virtual tour appears to show you have to go through the middle bedroom to get to the 3rd bedroom.

I'm sorry, but I don't remember the building #. We were on the 3rd floor, and it was about half way down the road that goes straight when you enter the resort. I never have any luck getting a villa near one of the pools when we stay at the vacation club resorts. It was a lovely resort, you will enjoy it! I don't know if our room was refurbed...probably yes, because I don't remember seeing any worn furniture. The villa was gorgeous.
