Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been to the Marriott Grand Vista recently? I am staying there for 5 nights the beginning of July with my son 11, daughter 5, and nephew 9. I was wondering what would be a good building for us to stay at? A new one? One near the kids club? One nearest the pool? Any info would be great thanks!! Linda

We were they at the beginning of March. Most (maybe all, now) of Grande Vista's buildings have recently been renovated so even the older buildings are pretty nice. If you have your choice of any building, you might enjoy building 79 or building 84. These are on either side of the new pool area that's geared toward children. And the Copa Loca bar & grill is at that area as well. Buildings 78 and 85 are on either side of 79 and 84 and offer a little bit of a noise buffer by being a little further away from the pools but still close at hand. The activities center is located near the main clubhouse where you'll check in and the main pool area - all of this a short distance across the lake from 79, 84, etc. via a footbridge. Buildings 80 (above the check in area) and 81 surround the main pool area and are near the activities center. There are area pools situated near buildings that are further away from the two big pool areas.

If you plan to make a building request, or view or floor level request, you should call the resort now and as they'll be making assignments soon, if they haven't already started for your week.

Regardless of where you end up at Grande Vista you'll find yourself in one of the top notch resorts in Orlando. Enjoy!
