Has anyone stayed here? What did you think? Pros and Cons. How long does it take to get to get to the Disney parks from here? Please be honest.

several people really love it. Stayed there once - my problem was getting out of it. they put me in a nice area - it was very, very quiet - but if I ever stay again - would definitely ask to be near the front

that say getting back and forth to WDW was not a bad problem. really depends on I4 - if there is an accident (and I4 has a lot of accidents) it can take as long as 30 minutes to an hour - w/o accidents - 15 minutes top.

now if you decide not to take I4 and go International Drive South - 20 minutes to Epcot (which is the closes park) now if you are luckier than me and every light between MGV and Epcot is not red - this will be less for you.

We are the ones that will hit every single light in existance. LOL

My DH and I stayed there last October and really enjoyed it. We regretted that we didn't build in more time to just hang out at the resort. I agree with the estimate of 15 min. or so to get to the parks.

We stayed there a few years ago. We thought the unit and the property were beautiful. The units are laid out kind of awkwardly we thought. The door to the master bedroom is at the opposite end of the unit as the door to the other bedroom so if mom or dad needs to go check on junior, you can't just pop your head out the door or take a couple of steps across the hall. You need to walk the whole length of the unit.

Also, there is a whirlpool tub, which is very nice, except it is literally in the bedroom, just a couple of feet from the bed. Very strange arrangement in our opinion, and no privacy. It isn't enclosed or screened off from the rest of the bathroom at all.

I don't recall how long the drive was from there but it wasn't anything bad. I would remember that.

Would I stay there again? If the price was right. Generally, it is cheaper to rent a vacation home or condo. Unless you are a Marriott owner or using points.
