Marriott Check and mypoints

I has any got the Marriott reward from mypoints.com and use it. Does come as check or gift card. If did get have any trouble using at Marriott hotel.

I am thinking about getting the reward to pay for my hotel room in at off site hotel in Orlando, Fl.

I got mine and used it this past October. It came as a gift card. You have to still reserve your room with a credit card, but they charge the room to the gift card when you check in. FWIW, we used ours at the Fairfield Inn.

Now, I am saving up for more since we are driving down from Michigan in 2010. I am hoping to stay within the Marriott family along the way and use those free gift cards.

I have had them come as gift cheques and gift cards and have gotten them many times over the years.

I will say sometimes (more than once) the front desk has had to call someone or dig out a book to figure out how to apply it but it has always worked out.

One year they charged my credit card AND took my gift card and it took a few calls but eventually I got everything credited back, no charge for the room and points for it so I was happy.

Thank you that is what I want to here. I am planning on is the gift cards to get a free for the weekend trip I plan to take.
