Marriot's Cypress Harbour?

Does anyone know anything about the Marriot's Cypress Harbour? I have heard such mixed reviews. My boyfriend and another couple are going to disney and we wanted seperate rooms so we booked a 2 room villa there. The pics looked great, anything?

You should come up with a lot if you do a search. I'm curious where you found mixed reviews. Cypress Harbour is a top rated resort.

I stayed there a couple of years ago and am going back next month. The villas are very nice as is the resort itself, ie- pools, activities etc.

There was only one negative for me and that was that the while the master bedroom was huge and luxurious the second bedroom was a little tight. It had a double bed and a double pull out sofa bed which was a little awkward to get around when it was pulled out. We were traveling at the time with a 10 & 12 year old that didn't want to share the bed and the big complaint was that they both couldn't see the TV when they were in different beds! If that was their biggest problem in life, they were doing good! They also did have a lot of stuff and once it was in the room, it felt a little cramped. You'll not run into that if you are traveling with another couple who won't need to pull out the couch.

Having said that, (and you'll find lots of others who feel that the second bedroom is more than adequate, especially if you don't need to pull out the bedcouch) the resort was really wonderful. We really enjoyed it.

Great clubhouse pool, really accommodating staff, nice location. A very laid back feeling to the resort with lots of lush greenery etc. Any specific questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

Do not hesitate to stay at this resort. I have stayed here twice and love it.

They have two main pools which are great. Walk up bar at one. Music playing, fantastic vacation feel.

We went to yet another pool (which was considered a quiet pool) at night and we were the only ones there.

The staff are great, location great, villas clean and plenty of room.

you put one child in the bedroom, the other in livingroom on that sleeper sofa....

of course that does make it difficult for the parents to have their morning coffee without waking up the that child....

Thanks everyone who replied. I found a lot of good reviews, but i also found about 4 bad reviews, all talking about the same thing. That the Villas in Cypress Harbour were filthy... stains on the sheets and on the floors... pull out bed wouldn't pull out... it looked like the furniture was never updated... the window curtains had bugs in them... there were clumps of hair in the bathroom ... The shower was covered with mold ... and that from the looks of it it looked like no one cleaned the room. But from what all of you say I'm gonna go ahead and not be so worried! I found my reviews from Yahoo and Travelocity.

Yes, we are traveling with one other couple. We were looking at other villas/houses that seemed to be GREAT prices (cheaper) than the hotels but the reviews weren't so good so i went ahead and booked our stay at Marriott. Plus I have Marriott rewards and want to go back next year and stay free

Which building should we stay in Marriots Sabal Palms or Cypress Harbour? A room opened up in Sabal Palms.

Wow! I can honestly say that our villa was very clean. The front desk was top notch, and if you have any issues like that, I'm sure they'd be taken care of right away. This is Marriott and while I know they're not perfect, they are certainly top in accommodations.

I don't know much about Sabal but I'm sure Spicey will weigh in.
