We loved this resort. The rooms are large and we had an interior balcony overlooking the lobby. We walked across the street and parking lot to SW and it was easy to come back in the afternoon to swim and then walk back to SW at night.
Yep,you just cross a small street with light traffic and you're in the Sea World parking lot,5 minute walk to the entrance. The hotel itself is very nice.
Stayed there once, and enjoyed it.
As with many of the more upscale hotels, they do charge for parking (I think $16/day). So walking across the street to SW rather than driving will save you a second parking charge.
You are correct - they do charge per day - I'm not sure but $16 is probably right in the ball park. You can go in and out of the parking lot as many times per day as you like - there will still be only one charge per day. This will be on your bill at the end of your stay. Enjoy the hotel - it's great. Terrifice buffett breakfast at Trade Winds and if you like sushi they have a beautiful sushi bar. Enjoy the hotel and Sea World
We enjoyed our stay here recently. They have glasses of champagne for guests at check in (you might have to ask, they forget to offer). They have rooms that face outside the property (and towards seaworld) and rooms that face the interior. We had an inner room and accepted an upper floor - big mistake. We were on the top floor, which might have been 21st, and looking down into the lobby made me nervous , just really high. Room service was good as was the service at the bars inside the hotel. They have no problem if you get a drink and bring it back to the room. The interior atrium is nicely landscaped too. We had the breakfast buffet someone else mentioned, which was good. Great Aveda products in the very spacious bathroom. Oh, and they light a fire pit outside which is nice in the evening. Walking to SeaWorld was easy. We'd stay there again.
