Marriot Courtyard in Cape Canaveral

Has anyone stayed at the Courtyard before? I have stayed at the Raddison at the port before and it was just okay. So any feedback would be great.

We stayed there in November 2002 for 3 nights and again in June 2004 for a couple of night pre and post cruise. It's a clean hotel, nice pool area, and just a short walk to the beach. Service was not as good in 2004 as it was in 2002. Our room was not ready until after 6 p.m after the cruise. They did let us start laundry (detergent is provided) and use the pool and get towels for the beach, and we did end up in a king suite at no extra charge. I would stay there again. You do have to pay for the shuttle to the port, and it didn't pick us up until almost 1 pm.

We have stayed at this Courtyard. It's a few miles further away from the Port on the opposite side of the road from the Raddison and within walking distance to the beach. Hampton Inn is located in same complex (shares parking lot). Hampton Inn offers free breakfast. Time wise, probably an extra 10 minute drive.

We stayed at both the Courtyard and the Marriott.

The Courtyard is nice enough, not well organized, close to the beach. I believe the rates are going up. I was quoted $149 for next June. We stayed in 6-03.

The Hampton is nice as well. Good service and breakfast. As mentioned, it is next to the Courtyard and it is a quick walk to the beach. We stayed in 6-04. We were quoted $159 for next June.

We have reservations at the Comfort Inn across the street from these 2 hotels. I haven't stayed there, but it appears nice and came in at $119 for next June.

When we took a taxi in 6-04, it was $15 for 3 people plus tip.

I can let you know after Sept. 9th. We're staying there the night before our sept. 10th cruise. I don't have a price b/c we're using marriott points. But I can let you know if it's clean and about the service.

I would recommend Ron Jon's Caribe Resort! We stayed at The Raddison for our first cruise and it was just ok. We heard so many good things about Ron Jon's that we tried it in May the day before our cruise and LOVED it! We are doing it again May 2006.

I've never stayed at the Courtyard tho....
