Married at First Sight

You just need to know their twitter handles.

This is her mom:

Read those tweets and see if you think they are still together. LOL.

I'm not sure who is crazier...Ashley or her mom?!? How can she even begin to defend her daughter with the way she has acted.

I hope that if my daughter turns out to be an emotionless, cruel, heartless person that stares blankly and never has anything positive to say that I have the guts to call her out on it. My opinions of Ashley were formed and set in stone in the episode where David said..."I want to be the best husband ever" and her response was...::monotone:: "ok..." ::blank stare::...::stupid eyes::... Part of me hopes that David did end up meeting that girl...and she was hot...and she liked him...or maybe she at least said one nice thing to him. That would be more than Ashley did for him.

wonder how the network feels about her mom spouting all that on Twitter...

Probably not good, but the parents probably didn't sign the non-disclosure like Ashley did...although reading between the lines, it's not hard to figure hers out either.

They are a train wreck.

If you do even a little searching, there are a ton of spoilers out there about these two (not so much the others), I think in part because they've been so transparent on the show, and then add the social media feeds, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist. LOL.

Am I the only one who actually buys David's "I looked for a mutual friend and then facebooked to see if we could meet so I could gain insight." story? It seems feasible to me. I don't really think the words "ask you out for a drink" have to imply going out as in going on a date. Why do they keep leaving off the rest of that story? There have to have been some other words texted.

I think Tres is so sweet, and he is trying really hard to be a good husband. I think they have a good chance of making it if Vanessa would stop second guessing everything. Sometimes I feel like she is looking for things to be upset about.

Neil should have not said he didn't miss her, although you can't blame him for being confused. Sam appears to have done an abrupt about face. It's probably hard for him to know exactly what she is thinking. However, the polite answer to her question should have been "of course I miss you". No one wants to hear they werent missed.

David and Ashley are the definition of a train wreck. I cannot imagine they would stay together even if they were the last two people on earth. There is no chance for happiness there.

I believe him. One of the psychologists posted on SM that she didn't believe he was attempting to "cheat." That he acted without thinking through how it would be perceived or something to that effect. The tweet was in response, I think, to something Ashley's mom tweeted.

But how do you even find this out? The twitter handles????

She is um, interesting.....

It was on a discussion board where people were talking about the show. Someone on there had discovered it...I suspect from drilling down on Ashley's twitter account. I don't have that kind of time. LOL.

No kidding. Her mother is all over the place with posts about "can't we all just get along" and "don't say it if it isn't thoughtful, kind, necessary, and true" and then the complete opposite about what a lying, horrible person David is. Just bizarre.

**IF** this show gets another season, everyone and anyone making appearances on this show will have to sign disclosures, because Ashley's mom is all but giving it away.

I do love that Sam got a taste of her own medicine this week. She turned on a dime, poor Neil having to keep up with her insanity is a chore and a bore.

He was kind of blind to her feelings though. It was so obvious but he said he thought there was love there...huh????

Irked they didn't show all the couples. The whole first 70 minutes was dumb repetitive stuff...waste of my night.

Ashley has ice water running through her veins and is a serious liar. Her decision wasn't hard. She knew from the wedding day that she would never stay married to David. She never gave it one iota of effort. The only effort she expended was when she tried to find ways to make herself look like the victim and garner sympathy. (the "date" I still don't really believe he tried to set up, "abandoning" her at their party, etc.) She was still beating the "he broke my trust" horse at the decision finale. Give up, girl. No one believes you. She must have had a safety pin handy to stab herself with to bring on those crocodile tears, because I did not buy them for a second. She had a hard time not showing her resting witch face every second of the time she was being interviewed.

I am so glad David called her on the "my trust was broken over him making a date" lie. She was still trying to make him feel guilty for the failure of the marriage when the truth is, she never gave it a chance from Day One. Thank goodness David refused to hop on the Ashley Guilt Train and made it clear she had been checked out for a long time. The blonde expert was a little less blunt, but essentially said the same thing.

Ashley could not get out fast enough and if there was an actual check, I'll bet no check has ever been cashed more quickly. Good riddance to bad rubbish. She's a piece of work.

I walked in after the first half (was recording) and glad my Tivo has a mode that plays the episode 30% faster! That was a lot of wasted time.

Yes, WTH. What a waste of my time. Should have had all three decisions and way less of that repetitive stuff.

Ashley really is a piece of work. You cannot tell me she was really even upset about the fact that David asked that girl for drinks. I'm sure she was ecstatic that she had something she that was tangible to point to and (try to) deflect the blame from her to something specific David did. That was her out and she took it and ran with it. She had no attraction to David and no intention whatsoever of trying to make that marriage work. She was happy to bang the "I don't trust him now" drum right up until the end.

I'm more interested to see what happens with the other two couples since it was pretty apparent how it was going to end for Ashley and David.

Ashley could not have cared less if David was hosting an orgy in their bedroom. She was that checked out. But you know she danced a jig when she got wind of the "I call it a date text" because it gave her the chance she had been waiting for to blame the failure of the marriage on David and her inability to trust him, when in reality she was the cause of that marriage never standing a snowball's chance in hell of surviving. She looked for any opportunity to play the victim instead of the Ice Queen and it failed miserably.

As for Sam and Neil, yes she is being all sweet now that she has a crush on him. But she was mean as a snake in the beginning and I wonder if that is her true nature. Everyone is sweet when they are crushing. Neil may wonder what will happen when the warm fuzzies wear off and reality sets in. Will Mean Sam reappear? Which is the real Sam? Mean Snake Sam or Batting Her Eyelashes Sam? No wonder Neil is wary.

Plus, Sam's idea of how to react when he does something very sweet is to kiss him on the cheek. Is that as physical as they have gotten? If that's all you manage in 6 weeks, there is no chemistry...
