I definitely remember a picture that they showed of him and his mother. She had a scarf or something on her head and did look a little frail.

Doug flat-out lied to her face in the worst way. I don't blame her for being upset. She hates cigarettes. Doug not only smokes but has been hiding it. You know that wasn't his first ever smoke.
Regardless of whether she stays, Jamie needs a therapist badly. Her issues are too overwhelming to work out on her own. This "marriage"is doomed if she doesn't stop living on her past.
I like Doug and Jamie and o think they could actually make, given enough time.
The other 4 I don't know about. Monet and her man just don't have any chemistry outside the bedroom. I don't think they're in it for the long haul.
The other couple (dang, I can't remember names!) The guy seems to be throwing up all kinds of walls. The girl seems confident that they can make it through the 6mo fire academy, but he's putting the brakes on the relationship. I'm wondering if he just wants out. I think he's hiding something.

....is it just me imagining this, but did anyone see the 'ad' for possible contestants? Does that mean there is going to be a 2nd season?
I saw the ad, but I think some of these applicants have other options like Naked Dating and there's another dating show on Bravo where viewers can tweet advice to the daters.
I'm thinking about grooming my 18 year old to be a reality celebrity, kwim?
No kidding, just seems to be not a good foundation for a relationship, especially if you're "married."
We're catching up on this last episode tonight, this show isn't high on my TV viewing list so I catch it later in the week than most of y'all. And no, I don't DVR/record TV.

I'm so excited to watch tomorrow nights episode!
I really hope Doug and Jamie/Courtney and Jason can give it a real shot of making their marriages work. I didn't say Monet and Vaughn because it seems like all they have done is fight and have sex. Maybe they have learned about themselves and can start fresh and stay together too. I hope so.

In my opinion :
The only couple I see staying together is Monet and Vaughn. They are starting to get along a bit better and both are too stubborn to call it quits.
Jason will want to divorce - he is so unsure about everything. With him going to the fire academy, he does not think a marriage will last through that stressful time.
Jamie will want to divorce - she is so unsure about everything. She is a basket case of doubt anyway, the lie was the final straw with her and now she is "playing a part" until the final episode.
Maybe Doug and Courtney should get together?

I really love this show, I love to see love stories & I think this is such a cool idea. My random thoughts:
Jamie & Doug:
I hope the rumor on the previous page that they're still not together is not true! They're my favorite couple, I think because they were the underdogs from the start. I thought Jamie had been tweeting stuff with them together? They're such a good fit for each other, he's just what she needs. I hope she gets that.
Monet & Vaughn:
It sounds weird to say because they're always fighting, but they are a good fit too! Their biggest problem is that they don't know how to communicate! They need to think what & how they say things. Monet asked for mans man in her preinterviews, someone who takes charge & fills a traditional male roll & she got just that! Vaughn wanted a woman that likes to cook & baby him & he did not get that, lol!
Courtney & Jason:
They're so sweet together, but they're so immature. The avoid hot topics that the think will rock the boat, they have to just talk about these things. I get the fire academy is a long & tough road, but they act like he's flying to the moon for a year. Couples go through this all over the country! I think that Jason does not want Courtney to see his mom sick & has not yet come to the realization that she may not get better. In that case time is the essence & they need to just meet, he will regret it if something does happen.
What's everyone else thinking?

I have been watching the show but just noticed this thread! When I first saw it I thought it was kind of stupid... then I got hooked! 
As for what I think.....
Doug & Jamie: I think he's too good for her. He has done everything to make her comfortable and happy and at the first sign of trouble she flips out. He put up with her coldness from the start and she almost brags about how she couldn't stand him! I think she was looking for a reason to ditch him and she only did this to get on TV. I also think if she had that many issues before this started, she would have never agreed to marry someone at first sight unless she was planning on not seeing it through.
Monet & Vaughn: I think they both have issues and unrealistic expectations however, I also think they will try and work it out. They argue a lot but seem to want to make it work out eventually.
Courtney & Jason: I agree that he seems to be hiding something. She seems lot more willing to make it work than he does. And as for the firefighter school, they act like the 6 months is going to be forever, if they stay together they are going to have to plan out years of their life, not just months.
All in all, I cant wait for tomorrow!! I only wish I didn't have to work, but I know what I will be watching when I get home in the morning!
