"Tick-tock! Tick-tock!"

What a great update, Brook. I'm glad you got to do some serious flower looking at Epcot! And I absolutely adore the picture above of Henry...way too cute (I'm telling you...watch out ladies!).

I fell sooooo behind! How did that happen? Anyway, I was wondering when your commando instincts would take over and they finally did! Looks like you are off to a great start to your "very long day." All the F&G Festival stuff looks so beautiful, makes me excited for my March trip!

I love that you can now ask Henry where he wants to eat and he actually knows all of the choices himself! :thumbsup2 Passing on the Disney love to a new generation. :lmao:

My other post sems to have disappeared. :confused3

Glad you got to finally do a Kim Possible mission. I hear France is a good one. :thumbsup2

Loving the topiaries and the fact that Henry know his park!!

That is weird that the animal topiaries have eyes and the human ones don't...

Way to go Henry, knowing his Epcot locations! (And picking a dinner with awesome dessert options!) :thumbsup2

I want giant teacups filled with herbs on my patio! Maybe then I would actually be a good gardener.

So, now you have joined the Kim Possible ranks. They are well-done missions -- believe it or not, we have done the French mission. :rotfl2: My favorite is the English mission -- request that one next time. :thumbsup2 I wonder if Connor will still be into them when we go next summer.

You got some fabulous pictures at Epcot. It seems like yesterday I was there looking at the topiaries too...but it wasn't sadly. I wish they had them up year round...they are just so pretty. I did notice some were moved to other locations during our AEP trip amd from other peoples TR's. I can't beleive your DL trip is coming up so fast. I hope we book something this spring and the trip comes up that fast too. I always wanted to plan a trip far out in advance...and now that I am doing it...it is so far away and I appreciate some of the last minute trips we have planned...but I'll never admit it to Skip! ;)

I think you've just convinced me to do Kim Posible next time! Kadence would love it, and it may make the WS more enjoyable to her.

Such beauitful pictures you've taken as well! Makes our brown lawn and cold temps fade away!

Brook...I just LOVE all those topiaries! They are so amazing and I must see them one day! The Beauty and The Beast ones:goodvibes
We have never done the Kim Possible...what exactly do you do with it? Is it time consuming? I always feel like I dont want to "give up" ride/show time to do other things. Maybe I should consider this for a future trip.

It's not too time consuming - takes maybe about 20 minutes. You get the phone and the Kim Possible characters come up on the screen and give you clues, generally a picture of somewhere in the country you are saving. Then you have to find that, when you get there click the phone and a prop usually lights up/spins/talks, etc. The KP character then tells you the next clue until you finish them all (I want to say there are 4 or 5?) and you "save" the country. What I enjoyed about it is seeing little areas of the country I have really noticed before. I think it would be more enjoyable when Henry is old enough to do it ALL on his own and Joe and I can just stroll and soak in the atmosphere!

I'd say it's definitely worth doing once though!

Phew.... all the way through, finally!!!

I am LOVING your TR! Your son is one of the most adorable children I have ever seen! Thank you for sharing your trip!! I can't wait for more!

:welcome: Thank you for reading and the kind words about Henry!! :goodvibes More coming soon!

Henry sure knows his Epcot! I'm impressed! :thumbsup2

You'd think we went to Walt Disney World a lot or something... I was pretty impressed too though, he is really remembering a LOT from our trips and how things are laid out. He's excited to see Mickey's House in California!

How cute that Henry got so into the Kim Possible mission! :thumbsup2 We have never done one but definitely will have to try one next trip. It sounds so neat!

They are pretty neat. I was impressed that so many props that were part of the mission blended right into the scenery. You would NEVER know they are part of a mission!

What a great update, Brook. I'm glad you got to do some serious flower looking at Epcot! And I absolutely adore the picture above of Henry...way too cute (I'm telling you...watch out ladies!).

:goodvibes Isn't that cute? Just the other day he was doing the "tick tock" again. He loves Peter Pan!

I fell sooooo behind! How did that happen? Anyway, I was wondering when your commando instincts would take over and they finally did! Looks like you are off to a great start to your "very long day." All the F&G Festival stuff looks so beautiful, makes me excited for my March trip!

I've been a posting maniac! And yep! Today was the first commando day - I still look back and am shocked at how much we did. Just wait...

The F&GF is STUNNING. You will love it!! I definitely want to go at that time of year again.

My other post sems to have disappeared. :confused3

The DIS ate it!

It was a fun mission! So creative. I'm curious to find out about the other countries as well.

That is weird that the animal topiaries have eyes and the human ones don't...

Way to go Henry, knowing his Epcot locations! (And picking a dinner with awesome dessert options!) :thumbsup2

Isn't it??! Sorta creepy! :rotfl:

Joe and I did NOT protest when he suggested Sunshine Seasons, that strawberry shortcake was calling our names!!!

:rotfl2: Me too! My landlady actually grew oregano this year, it smelled awesome. She is amazing with everything she grows! Grapes, figs, peaches, spices and flowers. I love that we reap the benefits of it all too! :rolleyes1

Yes, and I thought of you almost the whole time and could really understand why they aren't your favorite thing!!! It could get old for the adults - despite them being very well done and neat. I think I will enjoy it more once Henry can do it on his own and I don't have to be bent down the entire time reading him things.

And the English mission...coming up!

Still reading, I am just HORRIBLE at posting these days...

That's adorable! And no worries about not posting - I completely understand! I'm so far behind it's sad. Someday I'll catch up. Maybe in 2013. :rotfl2:

Me too! Epcot is so beautiful all decorated like that! I had no idea some of the topiaries were moved around! I didn't notice that!

:rotfl2: about the trips! I am that way too. Parts of me want to book far in advance, other times I prefer the last minute. I'm COMPLETELY okay with this last minute to Disneyland! Even though I have tons more work to do on it...!

I think you've just convinced me to do Kim Posible next time! Kadence would love it, and it may make the WS more enjoyable to her.

Such beauitful pictures you've taken as well! Makes our brown lawn and cold temps fade away!

I do think she would love it! She's at a great age for it. :thumbsup2 It's a really cute game and makes the World Showcase more interesting for the kids.

I am working really, really hard to get over not having a spring break trip this year, and your F&G pictures are not helping that effort one bit!!! :upsidedow

Oh, how I love a Disney spring break trip - for all the reasons your pictures are showing.

What all does your landlady grow in her garden?

Your F&GF pics are wonderful! I really enjoyed the tour through England. That is such a pretty country. The fake one and the real one!

I know I am very late to this report, but have caught up very quickly. Your son is so darn cute. I cannot wait to hear about the rest of your trip

I love that you included so many pictures of the topiaries!! I can't wait to see them in person one day!

I think the Kim Possible missions are so fun! They really get kids (and parents) into the World Showcase!

what a fun update and trooper Joe! Jeff would rather pull out his teeth than look at topiaries.

I can imagine how hard that might be to let Henry "drive" the mission...heck we had a hard time seeing the darn screen in that bright sun.

Then again, it might have had soemthing to do with wine at lunch at Les Chefs

:rotfl:

Seriously though...tick tock...one of my favorite pictures of this trip so far! I dare say Christmas card worthy!

Catching up here Brook!

Oh honey, I'd have already had that conversation with my DH if I'd have been at Disney for a week and felt we hadn't really toured much! How did you manage to keep so calm? I stand in awe of your fabulousness! I would've been all "ok, we took things slow, now it's time to kick it up a notch!"

Love love love all the Epcot topiaries and pictures! I really want to go during this time, we might be able to do since my DD might have a dance competition this spring.

The teacups are so darling! So clever. I love tea and herbs so this would've been a highlight of the day for me.:goodvibes

Henry is adorable, especially with the tick tock topiary.:thumbsup2 How fun that he's remembering where stuff is now too.

Don't you love the KP missions? We absolutely do! It almost feels like you have Epcot to yourself in a way, since you're running around trying to solve the clues. We had such fun doing it. Mexico and England were our favs. How fun that Henry enjoyed it too, just wait till he gets a little older, he'll be running around while you chase him on the missions.

Great updates as usual. Oh wait, forgot to comment on the KSC ones. I'd love to do that one of these trips. It looks awesome. We have the Air & Space Museum by us but this looks incredible! Especially the launch pad. Very cool. And yay for no diaper changes in the aisle of the convience store!

I know exactly how you feel MeMom!!! I am going to miss those topairies this year. Hopefully in 2013 we will return during that time frame.

The landlady grows a ton of stuff! We have figs, peaches and grapes. Oregano, other herbs, and tons of flowers from all over the world-several varieties found in Greece (where she's from). :thumbsup2

Your F&GF pics are wonderful! I really enjoyed the tour through England. That is such a pretty country. The fake one and the real one!

 I agree! Someday I hope to see the real one, but for now, Epcot is just fine!

I know I am very late to this report, but have caught up very quickly. Your son is so darn cute. I cannot wait to hear about the rest of your trip

My goal was to see ALL the topiaries! I almost succeeded, as you'll soon find out!

I agree about the KP Missions - they are a great addition. I often recommend them to my clients. It's a fantastic ways for kids to enjoy the WS and parents to enjoy it too.

I look back at this day and wonder how I survived, let alone Joe and Henry! Just wait....Joe really put up with a lot from me!!

 about the KP Mission/wine. I agree though, it is hard to see that screen sometimes! And to hear the voice too.

Thank you on the "tick tock" picture! He just loves Peter Pan. :goodvibes

I remained calm the entire first week only because I knew we had another week in front of us...I kept thinking "Oh, we've got time" until I woke up! This last half of the vacation was definitely my favorite, and Joe much preferred the first! I think we just need to always take 2 week vacations. ::yes::

I was thrilled to avoid Ghetto Gas this time - or any serious incidents for that matter! The day went so smoothly and the meal at Cracker Barrel was awesome. I could easily go for another meal there anytime. YUM.
