Sounds good! I'm awful at checking my messages, unless I know I have a dedicated hour to really look - which I haven't had since we got home from the trip...but, hopefully tomorrow. Last Saturday Joe had to work.

So, I will be on the look-out! I have positives and negatives to say about it.
What a cute video, of Henry learning he was going to Disney World! It's cool that at that age, it can be a surprise, even with a countdown calender.
Too bad the flight was delayed, but at least you had a cookie to keep you company.

I've never had a Black and White cookie before. Is that a northern thing?
The view from your room looks fabulous! I've never stayed at any of the Epcot resorts, but I think it would be so nice to be able to walk to Epcot or DHS.
I love that it can be a surprise still, even with the calendar!!! I will miss how easy it is.
A Black & White is a North-East thing, maybe even focused on NY. I had never had one before I moved here. They are like a cakey-cookie base, and the "frosting" on top really isn't frosting - it's chocolate, but not just straight up dipped in chocolate. The white has a slight lemon taste, but not overly lemon.
I know. Makes no sense. But, rest assured, they are delicious!
I have fallen in love with staying in the Epcot area. With a stroller it's AMAZING. We can walk or boat to two parks where we don't have to deal with the stroller.

And really, you COULD walk through Epcot and onto the monorail for MK, but that's a trek.
Mmmm, looks good Brook. So is that place part of the new upscale restaurant that opened recently? I guess it must, since it's on the water.
They have both an TS and a CS. The TS is a bit more upscale from what I have read, but not a signature. During the day the CS is both the outside area where I was, and inside. At night, the TS is inside and the CS is only outside. We want to try the TS sometime too.
Okay, you had me at the cheese sauce but churros, too?!

This will be a mandatory stop for us in September. Added bonus that the churro doubles as a sword.
I was gonna guess Soarin' for your first ride but maybe it was Fast Passed out. Second choice: Test Track.
Yes! Cheese sauce AND churros. It was sooooo good.
Definite bonus on the sword.
You are on the right path for ride choice!!
Isn't it yummy?! And the churros... drool! I'm right there with ya! We ate there in December, outside. Well, a few of us braved the cold temps. My sister and her husband wimped out and went inside!

I thought the same thing though, that it would be a great place to watch Illuminations from! (We had lunch... didn't think we better hold a table that long!!

)
Just thinking about it here has my stomach growling. We have a truck down the street (yes, a truck) that sells amazing Mexican food. We haven't had it since fall because they don't come out during the winter...I just might have to get this tonight after all this taco talk!
La Cantina would totally be worth braving the cold temperatures, or the other extreme, for! So good!
