marriage license

i have a question for you guys, this is especially for Jersey brides: will our marriage license that's from florida be recognized in Jersey? overall, will it be recognized in your home state if you marry in WDW? i called someone in Trenton today, someone dealing with statistics in Jersey, and they told me that it's not valid and i have to get married in Jersey to be legally married in Jersey. i just wanted to check with you guys to see if i really have to go through with another ceremony. if there's a phone number of website that i can go to, please let me know. thank you guys for your time.

I know that a Florida marriage license is valid in Canada and most of the US, so I would assume that you would be ok in Jersey. You should contact the place you would go to if you were getting married in Jersey and I am sure that they will tell you all the information that you need.

I got married in Disney and am from NJ....it is recognized and valid!

We were married in WDW last July. We live in Jersey and yes it is reconized as a valid marriage certificate. Good luck!
