Totally clueless... Which county courthouse do I want? Do I want Brevard County?

You only want Brevard County if you're doing a mail-away license - it's a few hours' drive from WDW.

To pick up your license, try one of these:

Osceola County Courthouse

They are about equidistant from WDW, but some people prefer Osceola cuz you don't have to go into downtown Orlando.

We went to Osceola County Courthouse, it took about 20 mins to actually get the license after we'd managed to find it!

We went to the Orange County one and were quite surprised how easy it was to find and how nice the actual courthouse was. It was really clean and parking was easy. IT was a quick in-and-out on a Friday morning.

So the three day waiting period is for FL residents only? We can go in, get the license and get married the next day?

We also have a million things to do when we get into town that I think it may be easier to just mail away for it? Has anyone done that before?

Correct - the waiting period is for FL residents only.

We did ours by mail through Brevard County and it was soooo easy! I was really glad to have one less thing to do in the days before the wedding (instead we drove around for 2 hours looking for a Best Buy so we could replace the Gorillapod we'd forgotten... )

You can begin the mail-away process about 60 days before your wedding date.
