marriage license online

Hi, I thought I read somewhere that you can apply for your marriage license online through the Brevard (?) county courthouse or by using sayidoweddingsinc.com - Has anyone done this before? Can anyone tell me how to go about doing this and the approximate cost?

Say I Do Weddings charges a $100 fee on top of the $93 cost of the license for absolutely no reason—you still have to jump through the same hoops (get the form notarized, mail it back and forth, etc.)... They just act as a middleman whom you send the license to instead of sending it straight to Brevard County.

Having looked through the threads I see that the form has extra information for non US citizens which I assume means people from the UK can also use this method but who is classed as an official notary in the UK?

Yes, definitely do not pay the extra fee for having an outside company do the marriage license - you can do it yourself.

I would give it the 90 (maybe it's only 60) days, but ours was quick and painless.

The Rev. that we went through gave us the name of a company that would do it for us, and they wanted to charge an extra $200 on top of the fee for the license.

There's no need - you can do it yourself. Besides, I'm sure all the Disbrides on the site will be more than happy to answer any questions.

A notary public is someone who's taken a special class specifically for the designation. This site says it will help you find one in the UK:

I cant tell you how useful this was from planning the wedding from the UK!!!

We had everything sorted by the time we got there and I was more than willing to pay the extra few pounds so that I didn't have to waste my time in a queue outside the court room!

It was really easy and for me, worth every penny!!
