Marriage License Help

Ok ladies i think it is time I actually think about the legal part of getting married...i mean getting married is not just my pretty dress, flowers, music, food and my future husband right?

I need help. Where do I do to find info on how to do this. Also when do i need to do this. The wedding is July 1st...I should probably do this soon right?

Click THIS LINK to download the form to get your license by mail from Brevard County. When you send it in, they will send you back a form that you and your fiance need to sign in front of a notary public. Then you return that with the $93.50 fee and they send you your license to give to the officiant. After the ceremony, the officiant mails the signed license back for you and you get the official certificate in about 2 weeks.

This does not apply to FL residents though right? ME and DF must go in person which is such a pain with both of us working full time and the hours of the court house... grrrr at least that's what I thoughr was the case when I was researching.

Right, Florida residents can only apply by mail if at least one of them is in the military and deployed. Plus, you guys have a 3-day waiting period unless you've taken a state-sanctioned marriage counseling course or can prove hardship.

But Florida residents can go to any courthouse to apply in person within 60 days of the wedding date. Is there one sorta halfway between where you two work?
