I thought this was an interesting article. Looks like Oregon does it right, i.e. allowing unions to be dissolved even if you've moved to another state. Considering that assisted suicide is legal there and indoor smoking is banned, I sure wish WDW was there because then I'd be moving there...they seem to be compatible with all my weird combinaton of political beliefs!

ITA. People rarely think about the fact that some of the most important rights associated with same-sex marriage/civil unions aren't so much about being married, but about the protections that come with the legal dissolution of a relationship.
