Marriage Certificate Help Please Former Disbrides

Hey Girls,

We are trying to plan our catholic ceremony for after the Disney Wedding and to get all the paperwork through the preist requires a copy of our signed Florida marriage certificate. Is this something you got right after the wedding or did you have to wait for it to be mailed to you? Please help me out here and let me know how the process works!!

We gave our marriage certificate to our officiant during the rehearsal. He signed it and sent it into the courthouse we had gotten it from. They had to stamp it and work their magic to make it official. When we got home from Disney it was already waiting for us in our mailbox. I think it takes about a week depending on the quickness of the courthouse you went through.
