Does anyone know if the Sultan's Sampler Platter is allowed on DDP?

It is not, but they are pretty good at giving you credit of a meal, and then just adding a surcharge if that is what you want.

I did that last week - got a "feast" that really just had a slightly larger entree and an appetizer - just had a $5 surcharge.

We LOVED Marrakesh, btw. Friendly and beautiful staff in a gorgeous setting.

And did I mention the belly dancer?

So gald to hear you enjoyed Marrakesh. We will be there for dinner actually a week from tomorrow. I see many reviews of this resturant, I think we will definitely try the Taste of Morrocco-Rayal feast.

What a disappointment. I thought only the dinner feast (Taste of Morocco, Casablanca) would require a surcharge of $5. Given that most of their lunch entrees are at $19.99 and the Sultan Sampler is only $2 more, I am sad to read that it requires surcharge.

We just ate there.Loved it.They did charge a surcharge though for the Nights in Casablanca.But the food was awesome.Any meal that includes the appy, will either be not eligible or a surcharge will be levied on the Basic Dp.UNLESS, it is one of the new pilot meals like at Le Cellier that allows this.

On the deluxe plan, there is no surcharge. Marrakesh had been one of my favorites, but this time everything was overcooked. Way over cooked. My review is item 23 of http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1953162 .

Just back and we were on the DxDP. Everything was on the plan, although we ordered just regular apps & entrees. We didn't care for the food though. The desserts were particularly disappointing. Waiter was very nice. Service was fine. It's pretty inside and the waiter answered my daughter's questions about Morrocco very well. Food just wasn't very good. Kind of bland.
