Dh and I will have 1 night to ourselves. I'm trying to decide between LeCellier and Marrakesh. We loooove steak, and I hear LeCellier is a great steak restaurant. However, the Marrakesh menu looks fantastic. What do you think?????????

Thank you!!!

We've been to both. Hands down I would choose Le Cellier. We think the steak there is fantastic. The food at Marrakesh was good, but not anywhere close to Le Cellier.

OMG hands down Le Cellier. I have never been to the other and will never go there. Not my type of food lol.

i have not heard to many good reviews about marakesh, le cellier however is fantastic! i will be dining there on april 1st!

I know I am in the minority on this one but I love Marrakesh. I eat a lot of Mediterranean food and cook Moroccan food often plus I find it easier to eat healthy at Marrakesh.

I will also be in the minority by saying that we prefer Marrakesh. Le Cellier is overhyped, we have better steakhouses here at home.

I'll start by saying I haven't been to either. But we have also chosen between these two for our trip in September. We have decided to go with Marrakesh. Mainly because Le Cellier seems like just a good restaurant. There doesn't seem to be anything unique about it. Something I can do anywhere. Marrakesh seems a bit different. More of an experience which is what we want when visiting Disney.

While we found Le Cellier to be quite good, I've been to better restaurants on Disney property. I'd choose Marrakesh for something that is very different. One of the fun things about Disney is that you can try things you normally wouldn't get at home. Steak I can find at home, Moroccan food and atmosphere I can't! ::MinnieMo

We love the atmosphere at Marrakesh, but the food is better at LeCellier.

Since I had a very good meal at Le Cellier and a mediocre meal at Marrakesh (and I am a fan of middle eastern/northern African food, so it was not my unfamiliarity that bred dislike), I'd choose Le Cellier. The upside to Marrakesh, of course, is the entertainment.

We ate at both restaurants last October. My husband is Egyptian and insisted that we eat at Marrakesh. Boy was he disappointed! I knew my kids and I would hate it, but I did not expect him to hate it too! He was so embarrased to be Middle Eastern after leaving the restaurant. The food was so bad that we skipped dessert even though we were on the DDP.

On the other hand, Le Cellier was fantastic and our favorite meal the entire trip. (Well, I loved Jiko's steak better but everyone else loved Le Cellier!)

We have eaten at both. Le Cellier every trip and Marrakesh once every decade - which is enough for me. As previously posted, the best thing about Marrakesh is the entertainment. Why don't you do LeCellier for dinner and Marrakesh for a lunch during your stay? We found lunch at Marrakesh more to our liking than dinner.

No doubt about it Le Cellier!!!:thumbsup2 The food is great!!;) One of the best restaurants in Disney!:woohoo:

We've eaten at both many times. For us, we felt like the food at Le Cellier was rather uneventful. We enjoyed Marrakesh for it's variety if nothing else.

I voted for Le Cellier for dinner, but I would also suggest doing the CS in Morocco (Tangierine Cafe). It is my favorite CS at Disney. :)

Thanks so much....Dh read the posts over my shoulder, and it looks like Le Cellier will be the one we try this time. However, I may try the Moroccan CS so I could get a little taste of what they have to offer!

:thanks:
