Marrakesh for Lunch Question

We have decided to try as many new restaurants this trip as we can and Marrakesh is one that is on our list. I had originally thought we would try it for dinner but I now realized that if we go there for lunch we will have enough credits to go to the Yachtman for dinner (we will have deluxe dining and want to try as many signatures as we can ... already planning Flying Fish, Jiko, Citricos and Artist Pointe :cool1:). My thought is that we'd eat an early lunch (11, 11:30ish) and then a later dinner at the Yachtman (probably 8).

Is there entertainment at lunch as well as dinner? The band and/or the belly dancer? Anyone had lunch recently? I have searched & read a few dinner reviews but not many for lunch.

Thank you all!

My husband and I went to Marrakesh for lunch not that long ago and we enjoyed it a lot. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and quick. The musicians and dancer were great. The dancer even brought the kids up to the front and gave them a lesson in belly dancing.

I don't know if it was because we had a late lunch (@ 2:00pm) but it was very quiet the day we went - maybe 25-30 people in the entire restaurant. It was also very hot the day we went so the quiet, cool restaurant was a perfect break from the crowds and heat.

Thank you! Good to know that DS13 won't miss the belly dancer at lunch! That is his #1 reason for wanting to eat there! :lmao:

Lunch showtimes have typically been 12:50, 1:50 and 2:50, then they stop until 5:00, but pick up a show times guide on the way in as it is listed there. We try to get there around 2:15-2:30 as a walk in so we can catch the last show and at that time it is not crowded.

This is making me drool in envy.I've never dined at Marrakesh and I'm still looking forward for the DH's promise of taking me there. Otherwise, I'll be taking the kids there myself and he's gonna be missing out on a whole new dining experience. ;)
