Planning to dine at Marrakesh this trip.

How often is there a "show"? I want to see the kid's reactions to the dancers. (they still do that, don't they?)

Thanks....

I am interested in this restaurant also, any input would be great. TIA

Copied from Steve Soares' website (http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/):

Traditional Moroccan music and dance inside Restaurant Marrakesh.
Daily at 12:50, 1:50, 2:50, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:10pm
Belly Dancer begins 10 minutes after show begins.
Length of show: 25 minutes

We have found that if you plan your ADRs for about 15 minutes before the show starts it is perfect. Gives you a little bit of wiggle room if it takes them a few minutes to seat you and then your order is taken right before the show starts. You have entertainment while waiting for your meal and the food usually arrives as the dancer is finishing up.

We love this place and it is a MUST DO for each of our trips. Hope you have a great time!

I have a 5:15 ressie so I called to see if I can push it back and make the 6pm show. The CM said that there are no scheduled times for the belly dancer, that she is out sometime within each hour but not at a set time.

There is one dancer and some musicians. She belly dances and she is beautiful. She often brings the kids up to dance with her. It's fun!

WOW! We have not found that to be true at all! :confused3 I think that the CM might not have all the information.

We started eating there on our trip in 2000 and were suprised by the dancer, didn't even know it was offered and almost missed her! On our way out we asked the hostess if there was a schedule for the performers and she told us that they perform every hour, on the hour, in the evenings. A few years later we found out that they had added performances for the lunch hours. I'm pretty sure the hours posted above are what we were told about at that time.
