Hello everyone and thank you for being so patient! In fact, you are so good at it that I'm afraid I am going to have to ask you to wait a little more.

We had a WONDERFUL trip - it was such a special time together as a family. And a first for us - no one got sick!!! (So sorry to hear about your crew's illnesses, Mary!)

We stayed at GKTW for 7 nights, then moved onto WDW property for 3 nights on our own. It made leaving GKTW more bearable, but it was still sad to leave that magical place. We came back on Tuesday night. I don't know if you remember, but we were being moved into the house we are renting while we are renovating.

So, imagine all that's involved with getting back from vacation and the post-vacation blues. Add on that first few days post-move feeling of not being able to find anything. Add to that Douglas has started a cough since our return, the boys are catching up on homework and my mother is still having issues. I hope you'll understand that getting to that trip report is something I am really looking forward to - reliving all those memories - but I just can't do it...yet...hopefully I'll get started on the weekend. I have tried to catch up on the board a bit, particularly to answer questions - a family with 4 boys (the youngest is 10) is leaving soon, and I thought some of experiences would be helpful.

And to top it all off, my home office was moved, of course, and the guy who helps me with technology (yes, I actually need one of those!) helped out by picking up my system, cleaning up my hard drive and stopping my cimputer from crashing all the time. Only problem is, he didn't reinstall the program I need to download pictures...and I have to find and unpack that software!

We do have some pictures from our GKTW CD and a Seaworld CD we just had to buy, so as soon as I can upload those, I'll share.

YEAH!!

I am so, so glad that you guys had a good time!!

Can't imagine getting back from that long of a trip and not being able to get to my house! I can imagine you guys are busy!

I am glad that you also got the Sea World CD...that tells me something about your trip...:rolleyes1

Don't feel the pressure from all of us to get it all done now...

I usually write 2 installments at first...and have the next one ready to go...so when the folks get restless and start begging...I can post it even when I don't have time to actually write. :) But then I ran into trouble when I had 2 weeks with no time to write!! and here i sit...

but I can't work on it at work anyway...to noisy and I have too much to do...so I guess I should go do it! :) :rolleyes1

But I am glad you are back!! And that you guys didn't get sick!! And that you had fun!

We will wait, if we have to:rotfl:
Wow!! No-one got sick!!:woohoo: I hope we are as lucky.
I cannot imagine what it must be like to come home from vacation to a different house :)
Then again, thinking back....when we first came over here from England we stayed in a hotel for 8 weeks:scared1: , found an apartment eventually, signed the lease, went back to UK for 4 weeks to sort last minute paperwork and visa's out then came back over here into our apartment.
All we had managed to get into it the day before we left for the UK was 2 beds some cutlery and plates and cups. We had nothing else at all as the stuff we shipped over here hadnt arrived and even if it had there were no household items, just sentimental stuff and a bit of furniture.
We did get a small moving allowance and I think we had to shop for 3 weeks solid to get the apartment kitted out :)

Welcome home!!!

I can't wait to hear about your adventures. I'm glad your home. It sounds like y'all had a wonderful time.
