Marking your stroller

So I have been reading threads about marking your stoller so you can find it easier in the masses. I bought some yellow duct tape to wrap around the handles. This should work ok for during the day, but what about at night? Are the stroller areas well lit that I will be able to locate my stroller? What do you do to mark your stroller?

I've never had any trouble finding my stroller, so we haven't marked ours. But, we have a Graco gray one that I haven't seen too many of. As long as put it in the proper stroller parking area (if you put it in a spot where it's not supposed to be, they will move it and THEN you really have to figure out where it went!).

I made a 8.5" x 11" sign with our name on it in large, bold letters. I took it to Staples and had them print it on bright, lime green paper, laminated, and cut to size. They even had plastic pieces for attaching it to the stroller. This all cost about $3 and 10 minutes of my time. All the cast members were remarking on how smart we were to label our strollers so well, and we could spot them a mile away. We even ran into one women who asked how we made the signs because she had lost 3 strollers at Disney.

I also used a laminated sign with our name on it. We used plastic zip ties to attatch to the handle areas of our stroller. I also zip tied LGMHs to other parts of the stroller too in case someone walked away with mine I could prove whose it was.

Use something really sketchy looking! I love the guy in the unofficial guide who puts a diaper in a clear bag with root beer poured on it tied to his stoller handle! Nothing screams STAY AWAY like a dirty diaper! btw,I never had trouble with stollers being taken.

We brought a bike lock thinking we could just do the wheels. However, we ended up just keeping it on the stroller and it worked as a good marker.A marker that could not be removed! We also were able to put our other umbrella stroller on top of the other one and made it look like they were locked together. They were not but it looked good. Psych!

I was paranoid that someone would steal my stroller, not mistake it for theirs. It is a almost $300 twin techno maclaren that I love so much. I tried to buy bike locks but nothing would fit and I was going to label it and then I just gave up. Nothing happened. My stroller was fine and never moved. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just try and park it close to the ride, like not on the outside of the row (if that makes sense) It will be less tempting if you have to climb over other strollers to get to it.

We used the DIY laminated luggage tags you can get at Walmart. I had a picture of Mickey with "This is "X's" stroller" in big letters, printed it back to back, and looped it around the handle where I could see it. We have a Chicco travel system in Sahara and I saw it everywhere when we went last September. No problems finding it and the only time it was moved was outside of Peter Pan and Small World. It was just shifted by a CM to make room for more. The laminated sign from Staples was a great idea too!

We used LGMH luggage tags. Also one of our strollers was lime green. At night, I tied on a glow stick to find it easier. Worked like a charm. And our strollers got moved often.

Dollar store glow in the dark necklaces and sticks. You can also get some battery powered lights and really be creative

We attatched 2 of the WDW luggage tags to the stroller with our name, cel #, and resort name. One was on the handle (and crossed over with a zip tie) and the other was under the seat. You want something that can't just be easily ripped off.

For the past three years, I have tied a bright pink sash (from one of my daughter's old dresses) to the handle and never had a prblem quickly finding the stroller.

We've gone during Spring Break and rented a Disney stroller- so it's definitely a busy time. However, we're always able to find the pink sash very quickly.

This is a cheap and very quick way to locate your stroller!
