There are so many funny, sometimes ridiculous, many times useful Disney products that come out seemingly daily, I thought it might make a good show segment called "Marketing the Mouse" where each one at the round table talks about a new Disney product that caught there attention for what ever reason and share it with the listeners.

Like this cool little tech gadget:

Mickey really puts the EEK! in GEEK:lmao:

I like it. Cause I totally buy into it. Mickey ravoli, sounds good. Mickey tape, let me stick it to you, Mickey mascara, sign me up.

Ok, so I haven't really come across the mascara, but I'm just sayin'.

WOW that is cool!!!!! I want one!!!!!!! I have a HSM2 thumb drive....I would love to trade it in for Mickey!!!

I'm a victim of the Mickey marketing machine. I'd love to hear of the newest and/or weirdest things the mouse comes out with. ;)

When I'm not at WDW and just doing my thing around my 20 mile radious that IS my life 50 weeks out of the year, I just love it when I see something Disney when I'm at the store. The site of something from The Mouse, for that moment, brings me back to WDW.

But there is so much more out there that we don't see and that is why I thought this might be a cool segment, although the visual aspect might be hard to convey. 'Show notes' links will help us to look at and or buy the talked about product.

Plus as far as I can tell from dipping in on the other WDW Podcasts last week ( my first time I swear), This isn't being done anywhere else:thumbsup2

Have you guys seen the Disney Signature Furniture line? No Mickey heads or anything, but Disney inspired stuff, like from the old days of the studios or using the same colors as Cinderella's dress ect....and it isn't cheap!

This is a link to the whole line, furniture, table ware, lamps, accessories....

Wow that's an interesting desk! Looks like something you would see in the Contemporary.

I have an instance of marketing going too far. I was just in Wal-Mart this morning and noticed a Hanes underwear display. According to the display, it's the "official apparel of Walt Disney World and Disneyland."

Didn't they mention on the podcast that Hanes opening a store in DTD, featuring Disney undergarments? ... Seriously, I could swear they talked about it on the podcast.

yeah, I've seen that too at Wal-Mart. I'd buy a pair but the guys in the gym locker room would flip out on me and banish me to the womens locker room if they saw my cool new Mickey boxers, thats ok, bring it on:-)

Via iPhone....while hanging with the kids at vacation bible school.

Hmm . . . banishment to the women's locker room (note to self: wear Mickey boxers to the gym) ;)

The display I saw at Wal-Mart had just plain ole tighty-whiteys.
