We all woke up really early as usual, watched a bit of TV and finally off to Universal Studios. Parked in our usual place (King Kong 308!)

First ride was Shrek 4D which was as good as ever, next was Twister but we were not in such a good position but did get wet. My favourite ride here is The Mummy and I was not disappointed as was even better than I remembered. Terry and Sara looked after Megan for this one as unfortunately she was too small to ride. Jaws was our next ride

This was our longest wait at about 45 minutes. I enjoyed myself in the queue looking at all the different colours, shapes and styles of all the crocs. In fact I spent the whole vacation looking at crocs. (I have three pairs!)
I nearly converted Sara who was very close to buying a pair.

We were starting to get hungry so we just did ET and then Terminator before heading off to The Hard Rock Cafe for lunch.

Mark & I are "All Access" members and have been saving our points for a while and was really pleased to get $190 off the bill. Our food here was delicious. We had nachos for starters and for main course I had the Joe Perry's "Rock the World" Quesadillas. There was a special on Cranberry cocktails which I had.

By now I was a bit tipsy and went to the shop and bought myself a new Hard Rock Cafe Orlando t shirt.

Just before leaving we had fun at the Universal fountains

We went back to Saratoga Springs where we got ready to try to go to the special DVC/Annual Passholders opening of the new Nemo Ride at Epcot.

We knew there was extra magic hours but was not sure if the ride would stay open longer than 9.00 p.m, but we had plenty of time or so we thought! First Kirsty lost her room key which we needed to prove we were staying at Disney for the extra magic hours, so we had to go to the front desk to get a new one. Our next mistake was not to take the bus which was right outside our door but to walk to Downtown Disney as Mark remembered that the buses seemed more fequent the last time! (However buses do not go to theme parks from here anymore!!) but before we could find that out Terry and Sara remembered that they had forgotten to take their park tickets with them which would be needed as well. The men walked back to the villas to get the passes. Just as the rest of us got to Downtown Disney, Maurice ran back saying that they needed the safe key!! Finally we all assembled at Downtown Disney and got the bus to Contemporay to get the monorail to Epcot. by the time we activated our annual passes it was gone 9.00! We got into the park for the extra magic hours but were too late for the Nemo ride, but did do Turtle Talk. Some of us did Mission Space (DD loves this ride). Left the park absolutely exhuasted. Luckily got the bus back to Saratoga Springs straight away and fell into bed.
