I watched the rerun of this episode of ER knowing what would happen. DS-15 got the box of tissue for me before the first commercial break... I was SOBBING... It was a beautifully written, directed and acted episode.

I sure am gonna miss Anthony Edwards on ER this year.

I didn't watch the rerun but, I watched the actual episode when it aired. Great show, totally different from the show's usual line of events. I praise 'Dr. Greene' for taking the Exit he did. He didn't want to re-appear later like Sherry Stringfield. Of course, like Most episodes, I cried, too! He will be missed. :(

Last week, I actually caught the ONE ER I missed all year, where Carter read the letter. I knew the outcome of course but, it was sad. :(

mj, you've got a great DS!! ;) (tissue please)

Oh boo hoo hoo! When it aired over here in July I was on vacation and I missed the one where he died. I acutally saw the episode that Carter gets the fax that he died, but I heard the next weeks episode showed Green, his wife and kids in Hawaii and how it happened....that is the one I missed.

I love this show!!

Missed it the first time, so I saw it last night. Very sad, the show last week with the letter being read was also very touching. Even 14 yr.old DD was crying last night.

Yep big tissue night for me! I missed it the first time around. And then saw last week when they had the letter in the ER and I thought it was a little lame they way he died. Little did I know about last nights episode! IT was great!

I didn't watch it again. The first time was tough enough. I'm going to miss him, too. It will be interesting to see where the show goes after this. I love watching the very first seasons in syndication. It's so nice to see the original characters together again. :)
