Maritimer Flying out of Bangor - Anything I should know

We usually get the Park n' fly rate from the Four Points, the parking is covered in the price of the hotel, but this year I used an Airmiles voucher for my hotel stay. I had to pay the Airport parking fees when we got the car from the lot. It was $108. We got 1 night free with our 1 night hotel stay, but you have to remember to get this validated at the hotel when you check out, or you will also have to pay that night as well. We were gone 11 days altogether. I will be getting the park n' fly next year. You pay for your room - I think about $160, they give you a 14 day pass for your parking that you give to the parking attendant on the day you leave. I know I payed less money, but I used all of my airmiles. I really like the convenience of the Four Points. It saves the hassle of the shuttle, which we had a bad experience with.

Thanks for clarifying that I think regardless of the price (within reason) we will stay at the Sheraton because of convenience. If it were just me and DH, we would stay anywhere but with 3 kids, we need to be as close to the airport as possible.

Are there any restaurants around the airport? Where did you have breakfast?

We have 2 children, and usually there a few families with us so the conveniece outweighs the money for us on this one. We usually just go to the airport and grab something at the restaurant there. It is upstairs, right by the security check - well, across the lobby area. They have anything from cereal to pancakes. It is kind of a take out style - not fancy, but gets the job done. You order, wait , then take your own food to the table. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but it is $$. If you stop over in Boston, we usually do, there are tons of places there. Starbucks, Duncan Doughnuts, restaurants of a variety of types. I hope this helps
