Hi!! I had made a post about needing a couple of things for a bday celebration for my DS. I am going to make a post in the other one that I am asking in another thread. I hope I'm not asking for too many changes. It was the reason I didn't ask you in the first place in this thread. You mentioned about doing a sci-fi one for me also. I will just check in this thread so you won't have to go back to that one if you have a chance to get them done. We will be leaving on Saturday so there is a good chance I do not have time to get these things.

I told the boys you were getting to visit family in California. They want me to let you know they'd like to do something for you to make your trip more special since you have added magic to everything for them for a long time. Is there anything we can do for you to spread magic for you? We'd love to do something for you!

My Mom and the boys liked your designs so much that we are doing a kind deed in your honor today. We are buying doughnuts at our local doughnut shop today and delivering them to the local fire station. The boys thought the firemen might need a yummy snack. We made a card that says the doughnuts are donated to them in honor of Marion, a friend who is always there to help.

Dawn, that is especially meaningful to me as my grandfather, my dad and my sister were or, in the case of my sister, are longtime members of our local volunteer fire company/first aid squad.

Some of my dearest memories of my childhood are joining my dad in local fields to gather cedar trees that were used to decorate the town for Christmas. We then ate amazing lunches at the firehouse.

My father also made it his responsibility, as long as he lived, to make a huge wreath that was hung around the circular window at the top of the front of our church. All 3 of my younger brothers assisted in hanging the wreath when they were old enough.

Your boys are very thoughtful....now where did they learn that?

Dawn...I will think on the spreading of the magic! My first thought was in reference to looking for books to donate to their libraries.

My daughter is particularly interested in dragons and dragon tales. A book related to dragons might be donated in her name if they still have to find books. Maria R. Morrow

She wants me to DISign her a shirt for our Disneyland visit and I am hoping to find decent clipart to make her a Maleficent as the dragon one. Sometimes it is more difficult to find good graphics for these older Disney movies....
