Hi! I have been looking for your designs for over a week now and I finally found the photobucket link that worked!!! I saw some other posts with your projects and they are awesome! I have put in a request to another designer for a couple other designs but I have two families coming back to back so I need alot! It's my boys' first trip so I am thrilled to make it as magical as possible and thanks to you guys, it will be perfect!!

If I could please get the following, I would be SO appreciative!! I know it's about 3 weeks away so I understand if time is a problem.

hhhmm.... clicking on the images, being redirected to photobucket and then clicking *download* and the files are very stretched and wide. What am I doing wrong? ANyone?

I see what you mean...must be a PB problem since they look fine when zoomed.

do you have the SNIP it tool on your PC? You can get right image using that!

You can also copy to your desktop and open with Paint and they will be fine there.


What has PB done to me now????

They keep changing the download feature from being able to download web size or original size to not being able to specify. Starting 1/1/2013 they went back to no selection???

see how PB gives you download options? you should pick Original size if the option is available. I will have to investigate through PB help how to help you consistently be able to get the right image...

Marion - my photobucket doesn't even look like that anymore. Mine has a black background. No options for downloading either. I don't have this snip it you talk about. Or microsoft paint. Unless that comes standard on my pc? hhhmm....will figure out what I can do. Let me know in the meantime if there is a change on pb. Darn websites!!

I have noticed that another dis-signer - MarneMouse is experiencing the same issues with her designs being uploaded stretched. Not sure what she did from her end (if anything) but they are uploading/downloading normal now. Perhaps we should ask her?

once again my amazing cable company put me out of commission from mid-day Friday and still this a.m. No telephone, no internet and no tv networks. My son and I have been telling them for MONTHS (probably more like years) that the signal strength problem was outside....not something in our house that required an appointment. Yesterday I think I finally got through to a guy. This morning they are replacing the line that runs from the pole to my house and I hope to be restored when I get home from work. Not making any promises but hope to be DISigning this evening.

Now whether or not PB is cooperating and you can download what I make is another story....

I may request assistance from a few DISers in determining what the _____ is going on with PB. I plan to delete and re-upload a few of the images created since 1/1/2013 and see if the download process works correctly.

If I did any of your requests since 1/1, please note that I understand that your images maybe distorted when you try to save from PB and there is no need to tell me about it or ask questions. Thanks

Hey Marion - that is ridiculous about your cable! Hope it all gets rectified for you in a timely fashion. We live in a world so reliant on electronics, we become paralized without it in a way don't we? Anyways - just thought I would forward you what I have read about the PB issues - the following are excerpted from MarneMouse's request thread:

"Marne, not sure if you re-uploaded the Princess design (not my name, but the plain one) but THAT ONE is much larger now and downloaded just fine!"

"I am trying to re-upload them all.....I think the small ones are a problem with photobucket....but am having some problems getting them all re-uploaded-photobucket seems to not be cooperating today very well at all, I have been trying to reupload the disigns for the last couple of hours and have only gotten one to work.....I will keep working on them If you want you can send me a PM with your email address and I can email disigns to you that way....might be quicker."
