Sure they could reopen marina activities by July but they are not a top priority and take quite a bit a labor to support at the marinas, security safety patrols in the waterways and require specific training to meet Coast Guard rules.
That definitely makes sense and a little saddening because given that, they might decide to cut most boat rentals, especially the Sea Raycers, which is what I was hoping to do.

JMO,but considering they terminated Boat Rentals at CSR/CBR and the Sassagoula River Resorts years ago,I would not be shocked to not see a return of Rentals to Seven Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake and Crescent Lake/Lake Hollywood.
Time will tell, but I would think Boat Rentals are about as low on the priority list as anything at this point.

I'm sure you are right and considering the costs of security, safety and maintenance, they're probably an easy target. That said, water sports on the Seven Seas Lagoon was always an original component of the "Vacation Kingdom of the World" and a great non-park activity for those of us who believe the resorts are as much a part of the vacation as anything else. As capacity increases in the parks and heading into the 50th, they need to give people some sort of alternatives to spread the crowds around.
