Marinade Recipes

I got a new George Foreman grill recently, and was wondering what everyone's favorite marinades for chicken, fish, beef, pork, vegetables, etc are.

My favorite for chicken is Kraft Zesty Italian dressing, beef I like to season with McCormack's Steakhouse seasoning (in the spice section at the grocery store-one of their grinders).

Pork chops are also great with the Zesty Italian dressing. My hairdresser recommended that to me and I wasn't too sure about it, but once we tried it we loved themt that way.

For chicken I use McCormick's Grill Mates Tomato, Garlic and Basil. It comes in a packet and you add olive oil, vinegar and water.

I like the peppercorn and garlic one for steak.

Here is one of my favorites:

Wing or Flank Steak (or London Broil) Marinade

1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup dry white wine
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground ginger
3 tbs veg oil

Mix all together and marinate meat for at least 8 hours...overnight is better. Cook meat as you normally would. I like the wings started in the oven and finished on the grill.

Best marinade ever:

1/2 c. soy sauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. bourbon
1/2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
garlic salt or powder
dash red pepper or hot sauce

Combine in large ziploc bag, add meat.

I usually double this and don't really measure too carefully (especially with the bourbon! )

The McCormick Grill Mates seasonings and marinades are great. Our favorite are the Montreal Steak, Montreal Chicken, Baja Citrus (for salmon), the zesty herb and the garlic herb and wine. Yum
