Marina Rentals at OKW

We're getting closer to our first trip to OKW, and I am wondering if anyone has rented a pontoon boat (or other boat capable of transporting several people) from the marina.

How far can you actually travel? Can you take the boat to DTD? The WDW maps indicate that technically OKW is connected all the way up to the Seven Seas Lagoon and MK. Is it possible to actually travel that far?

You can get close to DTD, but you can't dock it there. All you can do is float around and then head back to OKW. OKW does not connect to Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon at the MK.

OKW had several pontoon boats this May.

Here are a couple of other choices, no gas necessary.

I agree that you cannot dock at DTD. I do not know if they allow you to dock at the PO resorts up river.

A while back we rented the little speed boats (2 couples) and headed over to DTD and PO. We were able to dock at DTD and got off to have some ice cream. Being a timed rental it made the ice cream more expensive but it was worth it... we were on vacation!
