Hey girl! I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack!

First of all - congrats on getting the date and go-ahead for DH's Memphis job. :thumbsup2 12/8 is a GREAT day. ;)

Also, congrats on getting back on track and having a goal for weight loss. :woohoo: It looks like you're not much of a snacker (that's my problem, well one of them :rolleyes1 ), so if you just add some fruits and veggies in to your meals and make sure to have protein at every meal - you'll be great. Oh, and get that water intake UP! You need at least 64 ounces a day, but don't exceed 1/2 your weight in ounces. :thumbsup2 You can totally do this. Just get all that good/healthy food in your radar and you'll do great.

Anything I can do - just holler, ok?

Wow thats awesome Marie! It happened so fast!

I'm sure it meant to be. A lot of work ahead, but you can do it!

:hippie:

Congrats on DH getting the move back date for work :cheer2: I know it will be a lot of work, but you have to do what is best for your family!

I don't have a lot of advice for the budget, but I know that doing the budget has helped us a LOT. It is surprising where the money goes if you aren't watching it carefully! AND getting to move back to Memphis will help the budget tremendously because you won't have double housing payments! :goodvibes

On the weight loss... I think that you are getting back on track. Just like with the money, keeping track of what you're eating is half the battle. I would say that one thing you do that is not good is skipping meals. You don't do it often, but it can't be good. Also I agree with Kim, work on getting the fruits and veggies in and you should be fine! One more thing: WATER, WATER, WATER!!!

YOU CAN DO THIS!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hi! Just checking in. Glad to see DH got the go-ahead for the Memphis job!!! You can do this weight-loss thing! I struggle SO MUCH with the H2O! I know I'm constantly dehydrated!

Stacie

You can do this, Marie! :cheer2: Take it day by day and minute by minute and before you know it, you'll be celebrating the holidays in Memphis. :goodvibes

Hope you have a great week!

Hi Marie,

You have a date! Nothing is up in the air anymore. You have a solid plan and now you can proceed with the rest of your life. Congrats!

I agree, you need more fruits and veggies. The key for me is that I clean all the fruit(except berries) and veggies on grocery day. Everything is cut up and ready for eating. That way there is no excuse for grabbing junk. It is all bout convenience. My favorite lunch is cut up veggies and hummus.

You can do this Marie,

Take care,
Beth

Hi, Marie. Just caught up on your journal and wanted to say I am thinking of you. I am glad you have a definite time line now and can move forward with life. You are right, it will all work out - just try to make a little time for you each day to concentrate on staying healthy. That is such a challenge, especially during stressful times.

Hang in there - and take care of yourself!

Susan

Hey guys.....sorry I've been MIA...been packing and doing laundry and the in-laws are in town!
Things are going ok. I've been a little down this week, but that's ok. (i'm gonna miss the mountains down here! :sad1: )
I started training a new girl at work....not sure if she's the right person for the job, but that's not my call to make. (little bit of stress)
I have also been trying to keep the apartment cleaned for our company this week....not happening...kids aren't helping and by the time i get home from work...just don't have the energy....(stress level +1)
And I already told ya that my in-laws are in town...don't get me wrong...I adore my in-laws...they are wonderful people...but instead of packing, i'm hostessing....(stress level up to 3)
Oh, and I talked to my sister in Huntsville....her and her kids are coming down on Saturday & Sunday....(stress level increase to 5) (is she going to help me pack??? don't know....:confused3 )
Ok....now then for the kicker.....all of my clothes are tight...to the point of being uncomfortable!! (stress level up to 8!) I hate this! I worked really fricking hard to lose the 30 pounds and now it's finding it's way back to me. I don't know how much I weigh because I threw the stupid scale away... ....I could stand on it 3 times in a row and get 3 different answers.....135, 161, 154....I figured if I took the 3 weights, added them together and divided by 3, then would that be my actual wieght?? If that's the case, then I'd be right at 150. I can handle that....but I just feel like it's more around 160+....oh well.
I'm more concerned about my weight than I am about this whole frickin' move!! Yeah, how's that for priorities??!!

Ok....i'm done for now....gonna go into work early today...maybe get some things done before my stress level inceases anymore!

marie-re

(thanks susan for checking out my journal...I promise it will get more interesting and positive soon...)

Hey there Marie! Sorry to hear your stress level is 1000+ :goodvibes Maybe your sister will help you pack! Maybe you can have a Packing Party!!! At least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Try not to sweat the weight. You'll get it off. I know how frustrating it can be. I freak out if I gain 1lb! We work so hard to get it off, but it comes back so fast! Maybe all this packing will help you burn extra calories!

Hope you have a good day!
Stacie

Hey, Marie! Just stopping by to say Hi!

Sorry your stress level is so high! Hang in there Thankgiving ( & the in-laws) will be gone soon. Then you can focus on the move. It will all come together :goodvibes

I say get a new scale and just go with whatever it says. Try not to sweat it too much right now though. Just do the best you can to eat healthy... lots of fruits and veggies & stay away from the sweat tea and minimize the dessert splurges(that is hard w/ the holidays here :guilty: ). You can maintain now while you are moving again. Then you can kick it back in gear once you get semi-resettled. :thumbsup2

Don't forget to take the time to take care of yourself!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Marie I cant even imagine doing that all at the same time. I think I would go crazy for sure! How long are the inlaws gonna be there? I adore my (ex)inlaws but I would be a basket case!

When are you guys making the move? Next weekend? At least you will be all settled before Christmas thats a plus.

Happy Thanksgiving and try not to stress so much!

:hippie:

 Marie,

I am so sorry to hear that you are so stressed again. I am sure that the in-laws will understand, if things aren't spotless. You'll probably be the only one to notice anyways. Just get through the weekend, and everyone will be out of your space.

My new mantra is, "more wine!" Just a thought.;)

Happy Turkey Day,
Beth

Mornin' guys!
Yup....made it through Thanksgiving in one piece. The in-laws left early Saturday morning, and my sister and her kids arrived late Saturday afternoon! Let's just say I haven't been able to get much done. No....sis did not help with the packing....and that's ok...i'd rather do it myself.

Everything is going fine.....just VERY busy this week...packing, working, training,....you know....my life!!

I don't know what day we have to turn in the cable stuff...so I'll probably be gone for a few weeks....don't let me fall to page 2!!!

I'll be back after the move!!

love ya'll!
