Margarittaville question..See page 2 for update on my visit

Nope, never was...I cant stand being in a crowded club...

We've never been to Margaritaville that it wasn't crowded. Some times, in order to eat, we had to sit at the bar. But, it is a great place - love the drinks, love the food, everyone having fun - and a trip to USO wouldn't be complete (for us) without at least one meal at Margaritaville!

We had never heard of Jimmy Buffet till we went to Margaritaville...........love..... love...... love the music.

There`s always such a great atmosphere in there, food is fantastic and cocktails are gorgeous .........wouldn`t miss it for the world

There's definitely music other than Jimmy Buffet on the music video loop that's playing - I've heard Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and other similar singer/songwriter artists. There is definitely lots of Jimmy Buffet, but it's not the only thing they play.

And the food is well worth it!

I'd say definitely try the porch. And depending who the entertainer of the night is...the songs might not be JB. It was a combined mix when we've been there and at other Margaritaville locations.

There definitely is a lot more food there than bar food--and that's from a family of four gluten free eaters--so we've got to be pretty picky on where we eat. We consider Margaritaville to satisfy our pickiness at a reasonable price.

And just sayin' most vacation restaurants, including JB's, the people/atmosphere are usually so loud who can hear the music?

WE have been like pp said later in the evening, usually a group playing around 9:30 in Summer, and best is , the kids can stay as well. saw us coming out of there a few times [much to DD disgust ] at i think around 1am

So last night, I went to Margaritaville....and I it!!!! We waited about 20min to be seated, and were seated on the upper level, right near the outside patio. The music was easily ignored or drowned out most of the time. The food....OH MY! I had the BBQ Burger, and DH had the sirloin, and we both LOVED them. I also had the Bama Breeze frozen drink(x2) and they were AWESOME!

Overall a great place, and cannot wait to go back

Did you get your drink in a souvenir glass? We keep ours in the freezer at home so the drinks are frosty cold in that glass!
