Any reviews? Are the Villas/Cottages close to the actual resort or would we need a car to get there - How far is it from WDW / Universal? Any reviews welcome!

We stayed there April 2022 for 5 nights before moving to AKV Kidani for three nights. The only time we went to main resort was for check-in. Never used the pools. Yes, you'll need a car. We were in 8005 Sandy Toes Way. The commute to Universal is awful with I-4 traffic. Not too bad to get over to WDW. I won't stay there again. Our pool at our cottage the system was broke on it and unusable. It's nice space, but a terribly busy area. I'd avoid the Four Corners area altogether.

We visited it a few years ago, but never stayed. The location is decent and 429 makes getting to Western Way/WDW a breeze vs. the traffic on 192. There are quite a few eateries near Margaritaville too.

We stayed at the resort hotel in June. Nice resort. Nothing unusual to report. The adjacent sunset walk promenade is sorta like a mini disney springs ish.

We stayed at Margaritaville in the cottages. We had a 3 bedroom cottage with a pool and spa, 7981 Surf Street. It was a beautiful well kept cottage. We rented it on AirBnb. The 2 onsite management companies through the hotel are way over priced.

We walked to Sunset Walk, about 5-7 minutes, and shuttled back (free), we did tip the driver. There are several restaurants and walkups. We really liked the free entertainment, and weekend car show. Animal Kindgom was about 8 minute drive. T&TC was about 20 minutes, we had a car, but our friends used uber. Target was nearby, the shuttle can take you over if you dont have a car.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has stayed at Margaritaville lately. Looking at possibly staying in a 3 bed cottage vs staying in a studio onsite. TIA!
